  • Player Ratings - From my POV

Minichiello - 7. Made a few bloopers during the game but was solid in defence for most of the game, nice try aswell.
Perrett -5. Quiet, but did make some good runs out of dummy half. Defence shocking, needs to improve
Moga - 4.5. Very quiet, must have touched the ball 3 or 4 times and didnt look too threatening. Good in defence though
Aubusson - 5. Didnt look threatening with the ball, a bit too quiet. Needs the ball a bit more.
Tagive - 4. Had another shocker, although i didnt see him in the second half at all, maybe hamstring injury?
Anasta 4.5. Yes, he had some bad last play options, but he did put in 1 or 2 kicks to get a repeat set. OK in Defence
Pearce - 8. One of our best attacking players tonight, provided spark at times, great try, but average in defence
JWH - 7. Looked threatening with the ball, solid in defence.
Friend - 5. Average, some stupid plays in attack including that pass to JWH
Kennedy - 4. A bit too quiet for mine, needs to get involved way more
Guerra - 5. Also was quiet, enjoyed a few runs down the right side. He has great skill but didnt show it today
Takairangi - 5. He has great skill and can break tackles well, enjoyed a few line breaks on the right wing
Cordner - 9. Best player on the field all together for mine. Always looked good in attack, never gave up. Some experience and he will have the (c) next to his name DEFINITELY. Solid in defence too.

FPN: 6. Was good for the first 10-15 minutes after he came on but then faded away after, loved the headgear!
Mortimer: 7. Played alright at dummy half in replacement for friend, made some good darts from dummy gaining 10-20 metres. Provides spark, should play alongside Pearce
Tasi: 7.5: Was strong for when he was on, great runs and looked threatening
Masoe 6. Needs the ball a bit more for mine, he is huge and can definitely hurt the defence but was too quiet for mine

Mini Pearce and Morts and Cordner were the best players on our team.
We need to drop Tagive down to reserve grade ONCE LEILUA COMES BACK FROM SUSPENSION
Wheres Bosden? Mitchell? Bloody Brian Smith he hasnt got a premiership next to his name
Jake Friend had some good plays but he had the flu so he didnt play his best.
Corndner is a rising star. He has the potential to play Origin and he was captain of the u20s NSW origin.
We need to ****** sack Anasta cant wait till he moves to Tigers and Maloney fills the 5/8 spot.
FPN has just come back from injury so you can let him off for his average effort.

Friend is a liability why play him if he had the flu his attack is terrible Mitchell and Morts would've ran the big Dogs forwards ragged just like Ennis did tonight its going to be a long back half of the year now.

Also too generous to Mortimer. He may be better than Anasta, but he is rubbish.

Finally some player ratings that actually reflect the level of performance on the field. Brains ratings can be amusing but he just completely buries people and most of the time its undeserving, Good job with the ratings i don't think tasi and Mose were as good as were rated (prob 1 less a piece) but agree with the rest

Mini - 4 - He was out of position for 3 of thier tries.

Pez - 2 - not interested, hes been told to look elsewhere. hes gone and is playing like it.

Moga - 3 Quiet alright. The only time he touched teh ball was in goal after Minichiello set him up with a dangerous hospital pass. Even teh teenager shook his head.

Aubb - 3. Tried hard but he isnt 100%

Tagive - Back to Newtown for ever. Goodbye 1.

Anasta - 2 One point for each run he made in teh first half. Then -3 for aruing with the ref and not playing the whistle. Thats a total and new PB of -1. **** him off now.

Pearce 6 - 2 intercepts a nice try. Average kicking game, and dumb play to lose the ball in a one on one.

                JWH - Strong 7.

Friend 6 - and extra mark for sprinting after the bloke with the intercept.

kennedy - 3 Wake up and play or get the injury sorted.

Guerra - 4 Some strong tackles but overplayed his hand in attack several times.

taka - Lazy running back on side - 4

Cordner - 11. best on ground by a long shot.

FPN - 3 did we re-sign this bludger?

Mortein - 7. Great spark and enthusiasm. Still needs to bulk up a bit to complete tackles.

                Tasi - 3 bludged today.

Masoe - 2 Doesnt need the ball....needs Newtown.

We rarely agree Melon, but I think your scores are spot-on.

                  Total 68/170 = 40%..

O.K, I actually didn't see the game but going by the stats, Kennedy had a better game then Hargreaves so I'm just curious as to why people are saying he was so poor.

Kennedy ran for two extra metres then Hargreaves, had three extra runs, made no errors to Hargreaves 1, made no ineffective tackles to Hargreaves 3, missed no tackles to Hargreaves 4, made 19 tackles to Hargreaves 22 and only played two minutes less. So, just a little curious?

The weekly scapegoat that protects JWH from his inept second half. Don't dare say anything wrong about JWH on this site...

Not trying to be a smartarse or anything, but why do you frequent the Roosters site?
You like to see a meltdown (and hasn't the last 24hrs been one?) or just like the activity here?
                        Just interested.

Like i'v said many times I don't mind the roosters and some of their quality young players. But gee there are some very delusional fans on here who like nothing more to have a whinge about the refs, deathride the team when they perform bad or talk up the players individually as being the next great player in that position, depending on what mood they are in.

But yes there is good activity here with plenty of threads and post so its good to see the delusional fans out in force with a couple of sensible and unbiased fans mixed in each thread.

                            Thought as much LOL.
And yes, I too find it amusing some of the comments after a loss....sack so & so, sack the coach, sack Politis, refs etc etc etc.
If we made all the changes that were called for, every week, we would need our own airport.
