        That's unacceptable.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

He should take over the captaincy from Tedesco.

Media and others saying the Whitehead tackle on Smith was an accident have no idea or just Rooster bashing as usual. If the boofhead from Canberra didn't hit him in the head/neck area initially, and attempted to tackle in a conventional manner, he wouldn't have landed his torso on the back of Smith's legs. Canberra have always been a cheap shot team.

Its like the rugby league gods have said we will give you back to back premierships but you must walk in the wilderness for the next 6 years at least

That's the same media who remained silent on whiteheads first try...pass from Levi to whitehead forward...Jenkins said to ref that's forward...

haha - it seems like that but i'd put it down to bad luck or, possibly, not best practice in preparing the players. there's no curse

I've had a few people say that but it can't be that simple otherwise we would have worked it out by now and I think I'm correct in saying that our Head of Performance and Strength and Conditioning has changed a couple of times during this period.

When the farrk do Penriff get their punishment for 3 in a row that will now likely be 4 in a row?

you'd figure we'd get blokes who know what they're doing so i'm not pointing the finger but we've had twice as many acls as the next worse club since 2020. that's an extraordinary difference

Interestingly, TRobbo has a background in Sports Science.
                          Go figure.

Could it be something to do with the quality of the training & playing surface?

Too small a sample size to be statistically significant: not saying it's not a problem it obviously is but **** me there is a lot of bad luck in this with two in the same game last 4/5 years.

I would be curious to see the stats over the last 15 yrs to see if it evens out somewhat.

Cheese said he's not too worried about the tackle or hating on Whitehead. Said that it's partly his fault because he thought that he was gonna get pinged for a voluntary tackle unless he tried to get up and compete.

Robbo rightly backed his man but IMO we're better than Ezra Mam and don't need dramas (how'd the dramas go for Ezra and Trell?)
