I think coach Robinson is feeling the heat.

Inappropriate for a coach to approach an opposition player like this. I have no doubt Robbo regrets it. Not his finest moment.

          Pretty sure Whitehead approached Robinson.

Regardless, Robbo shouldn’t have said anything.

In other news… Elliot has played his last ever nrl game.

              JWH hasn’t.

                  Yes he should have.
The time for silence is over.
2024 onwards is the time for speaking out, pointing out, complaining, firing up.
Seems to be working wonderfully well for others.

The Roosters Way is ok, but only up to a point.

They’re human mate. He’s gone into the game thinking we’re a red hot chance of winning a comp and for the 4th time in 5 years watched a premiership chance go up in smoke due to shockingly unlucky injuries. The one in question which was caused by the player he was talking to.

I agree his words were a bit harsh and maybe he will apologise for them privately and publicly when he calms down.

At times Robbo can be too much of a statesman for the game..
pleased he spoke his mind on this topic
Yep. He's often criticised for being a politician.

Agreed as hard as it can be in that situation A filthy look saying nothing and just snubbing Whitehead would have been the better response

Robbos comments were fine and said in private. The problem is good ol Elliott singin like a canary in the presser. There's the issue.

We don't have a front row seat and audio on every conversation that goes on. If we did, that's when the fun would really start.

Exactly. If Whitehead didn’t whine like a little baby at the presser about mean Robbo not unreservedly accepting his apology for rubbing out one of our spine for this season and a fair whack of the next, right before finals no less, no one would be talking about it. He tried to get the media to feel sorry for him, Robbo defended himself, that should be the end of it. And sucked in to Whitehead for getting himself rubbed out of the NRL anyway. Yes, it was an accident, but that accident has huge implications for our season. His apology does nothing except him absolving himself of these implications way too easily.

And as far as Radley and JWH goes, I have a genuine question: have either of them ever rubbed anyone out for the season or for the finals by an act of foul play?

And now the whiny bitches in social media land are smashing Robbo saying he's the whinger! I've never heard him praise an opponent as much as he did the Raiders in the presser.
