When the ref blew the stupid penalty in the first 3 minutes of the game set the tone of the game for me.

That penalty was the most stupid penalty given. How can you allow play to continue if the Roosters were offside, then blow an offside penalty about 10 seconds later after souths knock on?

Since when does off side play advantage?

This is my attempt at trying to get rid of the dark cloud that entrenches itself above me whenever I watch this team of deadsh!ts called the 2009 Roosters lose by playing to their usual low standard against hated opposition:
* the team is young and hopefully this year will give them valuable experience
* so many injuries with another one added early last night in the form of the promising Tom Symonds
* they played the game with 15 players for the most part what with Jake Friend also getting injured and Mason ridiculously put in the sin bin
* they didn't get any luck whatsoever from either the referees or the bounce of the ball
* Mini's back, Mason is getting better, FPN tore in and Pearce is a competitor

This is exactly when I called it as well....ridiculous penalty - ball gets thrown at Sandow's head, he drops it cold but supposedly we are offside!!!! HA! **** off Robinson, what a pathetic penalty - he was 5 metres behind the damn ruck and no player was near him, **** you ****s!

When Mase got sent off, we were playing with 12 and they had 16. There's your ****ing advantage! At least we can seek solace in the knowledge Souths will be nowhere near a premiership trophy this year.

Advantage? Haha.....these current crop of referees wouldn't know their arse from their elbow. They are inconsistent merkins who get directives in their ears on when to blow and to not blow a penalty.....Stuart exposed this a few weeks ago. Robert Finch has turned the referees into the most important part of our game - it's embarrassing. (I am not blaming them for the loss last night.....but I seriously can't stand the officiating in our game anymore - it shits me to tears how you can be guaranteed a match a week will be destroyed by the poofters in pink)
