The attitude Crichton's takes onto the field needs to be followed by all the players. We definitely have the players to do it.

To me it makes sense to put this squad because it's likely the same squad we are going with into week 1 of finals.. (bar Tupou)

The dice rolled here is that we must win this game.
Robbo is risking injuries / suspension for cohesion and going into finals with a winning momentum..

To me this is the scenario we are facing, ranked from best to worst:

      1. We win this game with our A team, get a bit of cohesion going with the new combo, and going into finals off the back of a win. Hoping no more injuries / suspension.
      2. We rest players. We are going into finals off the back of a loss, with new combos.. lack of confidence + new combos is not a winning recipe.
      3. We lose this next game with our A team.. that will dent our confidence even more.. all while risking more injuries / suspension.

our odds to win the comp have taken a hit but the task is still winning the comp. our best chance of that is winning week 1 of the finals, having a week off, playing the prelim v a team that isn't melbourne or penrith (where we might even be favourites despite our injuries) and then hoping we nail it when it matters. not sure what the best tactic is for this week but we had a bye 4 weeks ago so hopefully we're relatively fresh. a loss would mean a trip down to melbourne and i think that would be a tougher game than v penrith (who might be without cleary) and if we lose but win the following week we'd probably play penrith in the prelim

Anyone have any info on Jake Elliott on the extended bench?
I’ve heard his name on this forum before and he is listed as a half back but interested in how he plays.
I know he is part of the central coast jr pathways program but might be a chance of getting a start next year with Walker out

Smart move IMO, Souths will be out to bait our players and Lindsay could be targeted by the Grubitohs. Could also do him well having a rest

I just hope Sandon Smith plays halfback & Keary 5/8, I don’t want Manu at 5/8.

Nothing beats game day experience to bed in new combinations. Keary and Sandon in the halves for this game is a must. The more they play together against first grade opposition, the closer our attack is to clicking.

                        It's as simple as that.

Played in the u19 Origin game, he's a five eighth, very classy, has a stack of try assists since moving into NSW Cup. Definitely a chance next yeear if he continues to develop

But, we're playing Souths? Or did you mean first grade d*ckheads?

so the nrl has knocked back souffs to play fatrell. 3 medics have clear him to play tmrw. Nrl still want him to serve out his coke suspension in 2025. be interesting if he plays now. That will mean fatrell will sit down on the indigenous game
