I'm happy with the side. We need to have one game with our new halves combo and hooker to see what we do right and wrong with the likely line up going into the semis.

I doubt we would go in with the high intensity just because it is Souffs.

Totally agree - would do Sandon no good coming in playing behind an inexperienced forward pack going backwards and having inexperienced outside backs outside him then playing a final the next week.

My concern is we’ll win well Friday night and feel like our season has some hope and somewhat back on track only to be pumped rd1 of the finals

I think that would be a smart move to bring in Mark N for this game. We know what Pauga will bring, but we now need to have a bit more potential X-factor if we are to go beyond the 2nd week of the finals. Let’s see what he’s got.

Geez I think Robbo has made a blue here. It's almost like he's doing a fly-over to show we still have strength before the real war begins. It's still a very strong team.

If ever we were going to rest guys, this had to be the moment.

I hold grave fears of giving Souths a free hit to nobble us further before the play-offs. Burgess and Milne will undoubtedly have a go, nothing for them to lose.

Fresh legs going into the first week of finals is more important than a run against a nothing to lose Souths mob. Sandon knows our systems backwards, and any further polish can be added in training drills. IMHO of course.

It's important to win. Playing finals footy directly after 2 straight losses is far from ideal. Confidence is king.
