After what I have seen the refs have the same perception of Anasta as the man on the street .They despise him and it shows in their refereeing of our games.
Smith must look at him self and see what he has done.
Smith coaching has always been based on attack

The basics of the game are neglected .
Improvement areas -all our defense - Kick chase is terrible , speed off the line - dummy half play

One more thing the will to win-attitude they dont have it .every time the going gets tough they drop their heads and give in you can always tell when a game is over for us before the full time siren goes off. Roosters of old would punish teams in defence in these situation these guys just give in -We now have a losing culture and they are hard to fix .
Chooks have been in a winning situation 4 games recently and lost all games convincingly all in the last 5 of first halves and the last 10 of the second halves ????? What is it ? attitude ? Fitness ? dont give fark? cry babies ....thats it Anasta has a tough time with refs and drops his bundle gets the shits and doesnt want to play and this spreads through out the side .Anasta hasnt lifted the side since 2010 against the tigers semi .He must be stripped of his Captaincy ASAP ....problem is I do not really see a decent Captain replacement with Knowledge of the game so Pearce will do .

I dont know about dropping the 9. I do know Mortein was good whenhe was on. And Friend was the only ****er chasing for 100 meters after that intercept. You want a captain? Give it to someone that can be there for 80 and can lead by example. Give it Hargreaves.

look I am a Friend fanand he is a good footballer but in attack he is badly out of form and for some reason is delivering the ball real slow .he has half back skills in his youth and doesnt us e them at all he needs a stint in Newtown where the going is easier and work on his game.Thats my thinking.Maubs is another that needs Mewtown and so far Mose is a Myth and not ready for first grade

I would do something really bizarre and play wingers on the wing, centres at centre, hookers in the hooking role.

My fix............Sack Smith & Elliot ,promote Jason Taylor to head coach,all this Jake Friend bashing is farking ridiculous,the team fell apart when he went off,however Mitchell in the side would complement his game.Get rid off all the bludger canoe we need Bosden & Arona back in the team.Anasta has to go ,I would play Pearce at 6 & Kerriliah at 7.I would never pick Peni ever again,give Alofa,Henry,Tupou,or Carney a go as for the centres we shold give Curtis Rona a go if the cap permits.

He is a special player who we should build the team around - if we muck him about and he goes elsewhere we will live to regret it.
