IMO, those defensive lapses between Satili and Whyte happened because Radley normally defends on that side. Maybe next week they need to go with Butcher in that position.
Apart from that I am rapped that we got away with no injuries and hopefully no suspensions. The fill-ins all had super games. Gussy probably best on ground.
With a few troops back next week let's get those bogans.

No wonder Robbo took him straight off after that first Souffs try and then he did it again in the second half. Penrith will run four tries passed him if he doesn't stop being so fkn lazy. I would prefer Steep tbh. The kid puts his body on the line and has that lateral movement.

After watching the game last night, I made the following observations:- Blake Steep (The love child of Boyd Cordner and Roger Ramjet) is an absolute keeper, and we must lock him up long term as his ceiling is massive and could be as good as the great Cords
- De La Salle Va'a is an absolute beast and did not look out of place at all in first grade and like Steep will continue to get better.
- Mark Nawaqanitawase is all class, he could prove to be one of our more astute signings in a long time. Just so much composure and Footy IQ.
- Terrell May is proving himself to be a top shelf prop who will hopefully be the cornerstone of our pack for many years to come. He has a huge motor, good in defence, can play big minutes and has that brilliant offload to help break up the opposition defence.
- Spencer Leniu is not a starter!! He is at his best as an impact player off the bench. For week one of the finals Collins and May must be the starting props.
- I love Nafahu Whyte and in attack he is awesome, but really needs to work on his defence. Him and Spencer can get very lazy and clock off, shows the importance of Rads.
- I think Sandon and Sammy will provide a great combination moving forward, Sandon will be a great foil for Sammy (provided Sammy re-signs with us)

Along with all the players you've mentioned throw in the experience and passion of Rads and Gus, with the potential of bringing Manu back to play FB and we could have a potent team in a couple of seasons. Give these blokes you mentioned a couple of seasons together and I honestly could see us going b2b in a few years.

The last 3 tries by Souffs were all arsey and not really poor defence. What mattered with 10 minutes to go was the job was done, and make sure nobody does another ACL. Mission accomplished.
How depressed and inanimate did the nine team commentators sound for most of our tries? Hilarious.

Just having a look at Souths second Try, I'm pretty sure Tallis Duncan stops in the line after feeding the ball to Walker, and Whyte bumps into him a little. Unfortunately, if Whyte showed a bit of gamesmanship and fell over, that Try would've been overruled. The miss from Sitili still wasn't great, and Whyte should've done a better job covering the space, if he wasn't going to play for obstruction. Interesting to note, though.
