i find it hard to believe that roosters management are unaware of this trend, but what are they doing about it? my concern is that despite the overwhelming appearance of bias, it does not prove there is bias and refs can fall back on saying we are just ill diciplined. it seems as though chooks are just willing to cop it with braiths on field sprays the only form of protest i can see. what annoys me is that this is probably the smartest thing to do from their POV, if they bag refs they are hit with a fine and there is probably a note marked in harrigans little black book of revenge and more focus will be placed on our players. there is way too much protection offered to the referees.
we all feel it in our bones and expect to be penalised out of the game, it situation normal for easts fansd, one of the things the3 great jack gibson did when he came to coach easts in 1967 was to crank up our defence abnd reduce our penalties, it worked we went from not winning a game in 66 to semi finalists in 67! how he did this i dont know, pehaps he took the secret to his grave but it woulkd be great to know and to emulate those situations again?
The bigger fuss you make of it, the more likely you are to achieve the opposite result to the desired one. If it is to be raised, it has to be done very carefully and respectfully, or we run the risk of becoming even bigger pariahs than now. Something like, "We've been looking at these stats, and would like some help in understanding how this could be the case" would be much more likely to achieve a positive outcome than "Look at this you bloody cheats!!! Now give us a fair go or we'll .... " etc. You never achieve anything by abusing the refs, as we've come to learn.

Yes there has to be tacked, I think Easts should look at a third party raising the issue like Fittler to get the media talking about it at least.
The only thing us supporters can really do is get more vocal at the games, maybe come up with a new chant or something and hammer the refs, show our boys we're right behind them...
