Hilarious! It's been ~10-20'C thus far so fortunately no panicking yet

Will make sure I duck in for a pint as it's nearby. Also looking for a pub for when the game's on (not sure if I'll find anywhere playing NRL). It'll be ~10am or something like that but I reckon I'm just gonna take one for the team and grab a couple of pints.

Any recommendation on English beers worth trying? I saw a couple of used cans of Fosters on the ground last night and had a bit of a chuckle. I've got no idea where I'd buy it in Australia...

Look, if we win it will be a victory for the ages.

But I can't see it happening.

You really have to go up north or to the black country, to see league games in pubs. I lived in Birmingham for many years, and I always got to watch the game in any pub that was open.

All these losses to the Riff and Drizz must be bringing us closer to a win ? Surely ?? Get over the top of them in the pigs . Smash them hard with the Bondi Wall ! Let Sandon and Luke spin good quick ball to the Joey's. Pick your time well Teddy you can win it for us . Let's use our tall wingers to fly high and score many tries from kicks out wide . ! CAARRNN THE MIGHTY ROOOOSSSTTERRRS !

We are not going to win tonight without breaking the mould of our current game style. It works against lower teams but not against the well drilled machines that are Melb and the Riff.

We win if Butcher and Watson tackle the heart out of Penrith. Angus, Spencer and the other big boys have really got to be in their faces all night and Joey needs to get involved in the middle so as Teddy is not the only option they have to shut down.
We have a combined 33cm height advantage on the wings and 21cm advantage in the centres....... challenge every ball and don't kick it to Edwards.

It is possible but we will need to be a lot tougher in our game plan resolve and execution. nil all after 30 minutes and they will be frustrated.

You need to find the Aussie backpacker pubs in London and you might have some luck

If they play for 80 minutes they are a chance as that is what it will take.

All boils down to what they do with and without the ball - must get to their kicks in their sets with few handling errors irrespective of the metres they are making in each set and they must be disciplined without the ball - minimise penalties/set restarts and low missed tackles. - no sin bins

They won't have a lot of point scoring chances so nailing those they do create is crucial

They drink more Foster’s in the UK than anywhere else in the bloody world. Try a local cask ale in every pub u go to. The odd gem and lots of warm dog piss in between.

This is the ultimate test of this iteration of the Roosters discipline/grit/mental toughness if they don't match the Panthers in these areas the result will be the same as it has been the last 9 times they have played them.
