They ran right through Butcher. After we were down 22-0 he brings on Leniu. Too little too late. We should have played Mark also at least he’s got some talent.

Yes, ...but we can improve before next game by watching the tape of this game, and copying what the Panthers do in attack.
Surely our coaches are smart enough to do that.

You would think so , but I am not sure our coaches will do that , it’s the roosters way . It’s more like can we improve not we can improve .

I thought with Penrith looking clunky in the weeks before the finals, we may at least get close if we were up for the game.

Penrith are a machine. They have done everything right, and have been absolutely relentless in attack and defence.

Us however…we are completely off the pace. Our passing has been really poor, our play the balls are slow and the ruck stale, we have been ill disciplined in crucial times (Sandon Smith holding onto Cleary for example) and our defence is poor like it has been for most of the year. Everything Robbo said we needed to do hasn’t been done. I don’t know what he’s doing during the week to get our team ready, but it’s clearly not good enough for these big matches. Matt King
needs to be punted as our defensive coach, and maybe Robbo needs to follow suit unfortunately.

We aren’t winning but I’d be happy if we at least make the second half somewhat challenging.

Sandon Smith is basically a rookie in championship footy.
He's learning and improving.
Sam Walker is our regular halfback.
Their 7 is the size of a forward and is an international.
