What’s heartbreaking is what could have been if Watson scored off the charge down and that pass wasn’t called forward.. literally nothing in it after such a bad start. This season is gonna be remembered for what could have been. We are just so unlucky it seems, they get their full strength team back as we lose key players a couple weeks out.. such a shame all round.

classic robbo, having weird bench rotation in the first round of finals.
bringing on Whyte and Spencer for the final few mins is an interesting on

I know I’ll get flack, but I didn’t think we were that bad. If we could’ve restricted them in the first 40 just a little, and maybe jagged a try, it would’ve been so much better.
They played literal perfect football in that first 40. They would tear any side, Storm included, to pieces playing like that. In the second they were still good, but much closer to what they’ve been in the rest of the season.
I will be so overjoyed when Klein retires. He won’t cop any criticism for tonight, partly because they blew us away in the first half, and partly because no one cares when we’re robbed. But he was disastrous in that second half. Disgusting bias of incompetency.
Side note, Whyte and Wong looked really strong. And please stop letting Don Young take 1st or 2nd tackle hit ups.

Our backs are awesome it’s the frigging forwards that are the problem jwh will stiffen them up to some degree but they are too small imo butcher Watson we were dominated bring the young bloke in va next week he will bend the line we got blown away by the Penrith pack that was the diffrence

Well, at least we dug in and won the second half. If the Suaalii try was awarded we get to 24-16 and could have easily come home with the win.
Time to regroup and take our medicine. If we get a fair suck of possession we can beat anyone. Including this mob. Some of that's our fault, but we had a poor referee tonight who don't really like us it seems.
Congrats to Penrith. Capitalised on that early momentum and too good in that first half. We'll be back though. JWH and Vic back next week too.

Maybe they should have been better prepared & up for it.
24 - 0 in a finals game at half time is woeful.
