Tedesco should’ve challenged that Tupou “knock on”, I can’t even be mad at Klein for that because it was so obviously back and we could’ve challenged it.

I was also surprised at Tupou’s calm reaction at the refs decision which was clearly incorrect..

Not sure why he didn’t run to Teddy straight away urging him to challenge it,it was a clear knock back..

I’m starting to worry about next year if Collins is the guy we are relying on to lead our pack..

Not sure what’s happened to him,maybe fatherhood has softened him up a little which is clearly showing in his performances..

We need the old Lindsay back,otherwise we will get dominated in the forwards against the better teams!

Looks like my decision to turn the game off after ten minutes and watch Return to Paradise was the smart idea. The lead actress is more than alright and has cheekbones you could ski jump off.

But Catherine McClements has changed a lot since Water Rats.

Yes we won the second half and the Klown had one of his usual shockers (also can’t see how that trip in the 5th tackle on teddy was not called) but we were completely blown away in the first half.
we have now lost something like 10 in a row to Penrith over 5 years. That’s not good enough. The team and the game plan need a rebuild. I can’t wait for next year tbh.

teddy - tried hard but can’t settle or control the team or influence a ref. Not a good capt.
tupes - uncharacteristically bad night - maybe not elite anymore.
Suaalii - tried hard and is getting better as a footballer- shame he is going.
Manu - seriously woeful since returning from his injury. Got flogged by Alomati.
Young - tried hard but limited
Kez - can’t retire soon enough.
Sando - played like an inexperienced kid. Not unexpected but will get better - defensively worse than Sammy.
Collins - poor
May - poor
Crichton - horror show considering his form all year
tupouniua - tried hard
Butcher - did he play?
Whyte - at least he has a crack.
Watson - close to our best and that wasn’t that good.
Wong - ok
ZDC - Robbo bench special
Special mention for Spencer - WTF was he doing at the end of the game hanging around getting photos with the riff. Seriously did he go to the wrong room.

Let’s all thank Jazz for serving 7 weeks on suspension for the last 9 games.

He was completely overrated to start with. He tries hard and is courageous but no offload, no footwork and just gets belted backwards. Average

Ill-disciplined first 30 minutes but matched the Panthers from then on - watched the "forward" pass a few times - not forward - Suaalii scores and converts and it's 24-16 and game on

Possession at half time was Penrith 62% and Roosters 38% - Roosters had more possession in the last 10 or so minutes

At one stage in the first half for set completions it was Penrith 20/22 and Roosters 5/7

The killer was the lack of possession in those first 25 or so minutes

Our forwards have let us down badly

We need big, strong, tough, rough, fast forwards who can bash, smash, and trash opposition packs and teams (legally of course).
Panthers had them tonite, we did not.

He is getting smashed every time he carts the ball.

The clean up work and other areas of his game have improved but his ability to bend the line has disappeared.

Toops also had the same reaction when he dropped that sitter in the first few minutes.

Toops rarely shows emotion on the field.
