All good brother. I wasn't signalling you out.

We were atrocious - Klien had nothing to do with the result. The club has bigger issues then worrying about the referees.

I hope robbo fires a rocket in the press conference at Klein
he does it every weeek and needs to be held accountable
that decision of the forward pass ruined all momentum

Klein will have the whistle in the gf with his mate Sutton in the box and is the reason I backed the storm a month ago to win it, they have been the best side all year but with Ash good luck beating them

6-again for Panthers first try. What was it for? The subjective half second too long from Sandon Smith with our defensive line already set? fmd Klown wants to be involved in every critical moment.

Having said that, we shot ourselves in the foot. Tupou in particular. Three dropped catches including one that would have been a try for us.

                2. How did he miss the trip?

                3. How could he be in line with the pass and still call it forward despite it going backwards. It wasnt even flat? How does an elite referee see a forward pass that doesn't exist? It wouldve been 24-16 with plenty left on the clock... who knows.

This isnt the first time he's come up with some horrendous calls in our finals games.

There were two players in front of the ref in that pic, a bit grainy, but looks like May and Crichton. Easy to see given Klein is on the line.
Forward pass; yeah that was a shit call. We can’t blame the ref for this one, we were blown off the park in the first half. Being dominated in the forwards plus dumb errors created their momentum; we made our tackles in the middle but we gifted them big metres because our pigs are too smallOur forwards were being totally dominated until Whyte and Wong came on. Collins, Butcher and May in particular were quite ineffective; I’m not sure what’s happened to Lindsay over the last few months, but Butcher is usually ineffective. Why the fark didn’t the coach use ZDC at all, which forced Watson to make 62 tackles and nullifying his key strength. Connor can’t be at 9, we need him breaking open defences from 14. I’m looking forward to JWH returning next week to add some starch in the middle.

Since the back to back wins followed by the intro of the six again I haven’t watched either live or a tv game which has been fair contest due to officialdom.
The six agains, the fines, the accruing of fines resulting in suspensions all part of a long term 27 weeks of engineering a tv scheduled competition in tandem with click bait revenue and gambling percentage revenue. The game is no longer decided by the bounce of the ball or a superior opponent due to one sided officialdom.

                    Well said.

The NRL wanted to make it faster, thinking players are robots.

The 6 again is the worst ever brought in rule.

Happens in a split second with no explanation & fans left scratching their head why it was given.

A rule designed to drain the gas tank of teams not through natural attrition but through tons of repeated possession jurdicated by an alleged fair official.

Forward passes called back off tries have always been my single biggest concern on how games are officiated.

To happen at a crucial stage of a final makes it even worse. Always say, when in doubt whistle stays out. Just let em go. Won't blue about a forward pass getting let go, but the reverse is a killer.

Hard to fathom how he made that call. Teddy wasn't standing in front of Toups and actually caught the ball behind his body to make it easier for the referee.

The other galling part of that call is Teddy not getting rewarded for two brilliant quick balls in that one play.

Their first try was off a fantom 6A on the 5TH TACKLE ON OUR LINE.

Another of their tries was Klown calling a Tupou knock back a knock on.

                        The forward pass debacle.

We got our first penalty in the 38th minute when they were up 24 nil in the score and 3 nil up in the penalties.

This is the usual script of Klown and Sutton whenever they referee us.

Forward pass and knock on/back rulings aren't recoded so these two priiks have a field day against us ergo last night.

                        I need 2 cement trucks.

This is not the first time we’ve lost to Penrith. So all the other losses were the ref also? Blaming refs detracts from the real issues at the roosters which is lack of forward power against top teams, lack of discipline and a very high error and penalty rate not to mention suspensions and then injuries. We can control 90% of it yet haven’t and each year get rolled by the top teams and each year blame it on the refs. The problem is much closer to home.

6A rule is the perfect weapon for Klein and Sutton when they ref us.

                            Worst rule ever.

Will lead to more ACLs, cconcussions etc

yeah, those 6a in the first half were crucial. both of them were at least questionable partly cos both players walked forward off the mark into the defender - a surefire way to trick a dumb ref.
to award those 6a and not give the penalty for the trip is ashton circus stuff. i was waiting for the elephants to come in.
but the 'forward pass' was next level. if klein is picked to ref a game next week, if he's recognised as one of the top two refs after making a decision that would have to be one of the worst in the history of footy then some serious questions have to be asked about the nrl

I also feel like he referees us every week, unfortunately. He has missed some nauseatingly simple calls tonight. Not the reason we lost, but certainly stopped any possible comeback. I would prefer any referee over him.

You will also not hear boo about the stack of missed penalties and knock ons, since they’re against us.
There's another Klein generation coming through the refereeing ranks, so I wouldn't hold out much hope that Easts will get any favours from officialdom any time soon.

And let's not forget that Klein is the son of a former Pemriff player. How he was ever appointed to that match last night is beyond me.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.
