Recon Cobbo be a good pick up for us, probably won't leave Qld, how genuine an attempt to snag him is dependent on if there any substance on the possibility of Ponga arriving.

I cant see the Roosters going into next year with 2 inexperienced / injury prone centres (be it Pauga / mark M / Billy Smith), Townsend and Sandon in the halves and Watson at hooker with ZDC as back up.

So they will make an impact in the market for certain - I wouldnt be against Hunt and Cobbo - sure both for varying reason have an element of risk, but both can play multiple positions, are proven rep level players and i dare say both could use a change of clubs - which could give them both a lift.

outside of them - who else is there to target as far as proven first graders. they are obviously looking for a centre (considering Gagai offer). will be an interesting off season

He can’t move to Sydney he’ll be crying for home every five minutes. Seems too much of a drama queen too. In fact he seems a bit like a bloke who use to play for us, a bloke who would be competition for him at a buffet.
