Panthers are a powerhouse this dynasty doesn’t look like letting up and good for them I don’t have my nose out of joint about that it’s a credit to them, but how do you compete with that? It’s like the 90’s Broncos having the entire state to themselves of junior talent to pick from, since the introduction of more QLD teams plus Melbourne the dominance ended.
This era of 6Again ended ours and Melbournes dominance of trading comps wasn’t the entire idea of this 6Again meant to speed up the game and improve the spectacle make it so that the comp is closer (it’s never been more one sided)It’s been a 2 horse race since then every year, what team outside Melbourne who have finally been the first team to catch up to the riff (or has it been the loss of talent as a previous poster mentioned ?)
Am I missing something here? They have the biggest supply to pick from or have I completely missed the mark?
If someone could explain this it would be much appreciated.
They could be a powerhouse if they relocated fully to the MacArthur area.
I heard the other day that the Camden Rams ( Teddys junior club) have 600 players. That’s just 1 club in the MacArthur catchment. 600 players

Nope according to Balmain their ready to go it alone, Balmain exist only in name the fools have been kept afloat by Wests Ashfield and the leagues club in Campbelltown since the merger the Balmain leagues club is rotting into the ground should have been demolished years ago, zero growth in the area and even less of a future the infighting is what is keeping that club rooted to the cellar.
If only the Roosters could have that kind of catchment on tap.

The three bidders for entry into the NSWRL Comp for the 1982 season were Campbelltown, Illawarra, and Canberra. The NSWRL chose Illawarra and Canberra as the two new teams. Hence the proposed merge with Newtown - Newtown-Campbelltown Jets
Back then, we were imports if ever signed by a NSWRL club. Newtown stuffed us up in the Harold Matthews Cup, as when we turned up for trials they said they had picked the squad already. Somehow Group 6 was allowed to field a side in the Harold Matthews Cup. We won that competition, beating Penrith 12-3 in the Grand Final.
The Mighty East Campbelltown Eagles have junior sides from under 5's to under 18's, including 2 female sides—under 14's and 16's—seniors as well—3rd Grade/Reserve Grade/1st Grade, and a women's open-age side—800 or so juniors whose home ground is the Waminda Oval International Sports Stadium.
A Scene of many a victory in group 6.- we played against: Campbelltown St Johns/Collegians/Campbelltown Warriors/Campbelltown City Kangaroos/Lithgow Street Bradbury (only lasted 2 seasons)/Leumeah Wolves/Minto Cobras/Ingleburn Bulldogs/Glenquaie Hawkes/Warragamba/Appin Dogs (Warriors)/Camden Rams/Narellan Jets/Thirlmere-Tahmour/Bowral/Mittagong/Mossvale/The Oaks/Oakdale/Robertson(now in group 7)/Picton Magpies
In my day I played from under 7's to under 18's—East Campbelltown Eagles didn't have senior sides back then.
We used to play the grand finals at Bradbury Oval; now they use the Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
The Sydney Roosters extended their agreement with the Central Coast, an area with over 7000 juniors—a number are filtering through to NRL and NRLW via the extended pathways for both male and female players.

league isn't dead. it evolves. yeah, credit to the panthers - they've been magnificent. it's up to the other clubs to rise to that standard
Are Panthers players ever onside?
Do Panthers get refereed to the same standard of rules compliance as other teams do when playing them?
Are Panthers the beneficiary of very favourable 6 As and penalties when compared to other teams?
When the Panthers play, is "only one team refereed"?

Patrician Bros Fairfield, Holy Cross Ryde and St Gregory's used to be the dominant school RL teams. But I don't hear about Greg's anymore.
