I agree desperate times, but Joeys form has been ordinary for ages. He has failed as a 6 previously...if you want to do something desperate put him at fullback where maybe he will get involved again and Teddy to 6. Teddy is running around in the middle anyway.

Now that’s out-of-the-box thinking; I like it and is worth a shot. Not a great deal of risk in that move. Biggest issue for me is that Teddy can’t kick, so that puts extra pressure on Sandon’s kicking game (yes, I’d drop Keary entirely).

I have to respectfully disagree. Teddy to #6 is a dramatic change to the spine this late in the season. IMO we need Manu from centre to get more ball. 1. By getting it out to him earlier with more space. And 2. get him to roam the field in attack.

The problem is the ball hasn't been getting to him early and his roaming has been ineffective. Atleast if he were fullback he would automatically on kick returns have the space and freedom to run. I know it's not going to happen but I believe the team would benefit with an involved Joey

JWH needs to start. May doesn't seem to have the same impact when he starts.

Terrell has the power and lots of skill but lacks the aggression so far to be a starter.

Plus and minus with Joey to 6. If he plays left side defence he could take Olakau'atu who was scary unstoppable on the weekend.He worries me. But benching Sandon puts all the kick responsibility with Kez. Wherever Joey plays we really need him to hit his top form again to go all the way to the big dance.
