Gee I hope we smash Manly, still hear their fans whinging about Maloney’s forward pass to this day. Biggest wingers in the comp.

They have all been awfully quiet on Hopoate’s pass last week of course, not to mention DCE’s ‘locking’ in of the scrum. Thought they were very lucky to get through to week 2 and I expect no favours from the ref, DCE will be crying fallacies into his ear from minute 1.

Having JWH back for this game, in his last season, will be the defining factor in this game and should see us get the win.

That, and having a full bench full of big lads, means we should win the middle.

They'll also be out to smash the door smashing nutjob (Lodge) as he didn't leave on the best of terms.

Tom Turbo is playing, but is busted. I still think Manly's centres are bog average in defence, and we will get points there in particular if we just hold onto the pill and play possession.

We've got the better 1-5 and we've got the better 8-10 and bench. I think Manly have the edge in the halves, but if our lads do their job with possession they'll be largely ineffective. Slight nod to Manly for the backrow too, as Sitili is a big weak point and is cause for concern

I'm looking forward to this one.

      JWH to be the difference.

      Roosters by 6.

I’m mainly concerned about getting decent possession in their half and our defense which has let in so many soft tries. After the Toups saga I expect plenty of high balls with rushing players at us to force errors close to our line. Canterbury were way better but Manly resilience still won the day. I still would be using Mark. Result depends on errors, penalties and defense and we are weak in these areas. Can’t see us getting up but you never know.

Hopeful but not confident this week.
His talent under the high ball alone should make him a shoe in but Robbo likely won’t use such a talent which I believe is wrong.

They have to stop (Ola ka watu.)? If they don't aim up on that edge of defence near the tryline he will bag a double.

Manly defend like the Roosters...normally move 3 steps and then stop waiting for the ball carriers to reach them. Penrith , Melbourne and Dogs move the whole time in defence cutting down yardage gain. Manly were lucky to beat Dogs and defending the same as us should ensure we get good yardage and more points. Tired of hearing Teddy say we don't play for 80 minutes. So just f.ing do it ! Or will they? Been waiting all season for Manu to regain elite form . Last week Crichton had a shocker. IF they all lift to their ability we will win. Which rooster team will turn up? I think the winning one.

obviously rads if he is fit - if he is no need for ZDK and rads can cover 9 if anything happens to Watson
but if not wouldn’t be surprised for a late forward chance with ZDK

surprised Marky n not over Jenko and pauga

I desperately hope it's not their last game but it's going to be surreal watching JWH & Manu in our colours for the last time possibly. I personally don't believe we will see Manu again

Haha, a few of my mates had stopped talking bout that pass a while ago, but it came back to life when Maloney was interviewed on “the fan” and Lara asked him about that pass, jimmy just started laughing and said, “yeah it was pretty far forward, but I’ll take it”

that got all of them in the shits again, it’s worse when the guy who threw it, admits it.

JWH and Leniu Vs Lodge and Brown, a battle of the ages. I just hope the ref lets them settle it the old fashioned way and not the current PC woke way.

Probably because of his lack of experience, although I think he is a better option than Jennings despite it.

It was as forward as their try was a penalty try. Actually I think the pass was less forward.

Buy Lodge back to replace JWH for next season?

The 'old fashioned way' is dead.
                                One punch can kill.
One high tackle can cause serious concussion

Time to play the new way, which JWH hasn't mastered yet.

My expectation is that JWH will try and be the enforcer again, like he did last time he played...hit someone high, get sent off or binned and cost us the game.
                                I hope I'm totally wrong.
