Time to play the new way, which JWH hasn't mastered yet.

My expectation is that JWH will try and be the enforcer again, like he did last time he played...hit someone high, get sent off or binned and cost us the game.
    I hope I'm totally wrong.
    Yes its called touch footy

Too much to ask mate. I do remember quite a few years ago when Lodge absolutely ironed out JWH in a tackle when playing for the Tigers (pre his arrest).

I'm expecting Easts to win comfortably.

The success of the season will be determined by the game against Melbourne.

        Easts to win.

And that is everything wrong about rugby league today in one sentence!

It's a huge risk to play Rads with a fracture that is muted to require surgery . Very different to Cronks position as an organiser/mentor on the field in 2019. Rads would be there to do a lot of tackling....if he doesn't the burden falls on others. And if he goes down, we have a bigger problem of being 1 rotation short. Hopefully it's all smoke and mirrors stuff

B B we certainly will need an old hand next year for sure. And a ' real ' hooker. And an experienced centre to help out.

If Rads plays, it must have been a hairline of a hairline fracture.
No way you can play with a broken scapula, the pain when there is any movement of your arm/shoulder is mental, I've been there.
And the complete loss of strength.

No way I'd be playing injured Rads, surely a fracture doesn't heal properly that quickly.

He gets a whack on it, and we're a rotation player short for most of the game.

Need to play a fit player, one as big as possible to stop the big Manly forwards and gun match winning back.

                  100% completions.
                  No mistakes.
                  No dumb intercept passes.
                  No dumb penalties.
No getting bogged down playing one out trying to barge over the try line.
Then we might have a chance.

Controlled aggression and effective legal tackling...we might just win.

It’s getting sad to think now it’s only a matter of time to we loose just under 1000 games of experience and roosters legends soon
jwh, Keary, Manu, sitili and suaali could be playing their last games

We just need to be smart about it.

I think Rads is a decent sledger (if he plays) as is JWH.

All we need to do is get stuck into Lodge verbally - he is mentally weak and he'll self destruct.

No need for punches or head high tackles. Totally not required.

Lodge has been bending the line for Manly which helps them get a roll on through the middle before they shift.

He must be stopped! JWH must win that battle and not be sent off or placed on report in the process.

Damn... yeah their forward pack looks alright with him, Olakau'atu, Trbo, Paseka, Brown...etc. Then their spine of DCE, Trbo and Croker (could include Brooks as he's supposed to be amazing) is decent.

IDK what to expect really!!! I think it's gonna be a good test of whether our forwards can dominate well enough to nullify a bloody good spine (almost on par with Pappy, Hughes, Munster and Grant).

Hope we can win. TBH in hindsight... with how dominant Penrith and Melbourne have been, it almost woulda been worth the Chooks and Cronulla resting their players for week 1 of the finals so they can make sure of week 2 without being too exhausted. The week 1 blow-outs almost make me wonder if both of us intentionally played at 80% so as not to get fined, but knew the win was highly unlikely.

Interestingly the bookies have us favourites but the 'experts' in the Smh are 7 to 5 favouring sea Eagles. If you disregard the bottom 6 tipsters, the top 6 tipsters favour manly 4 to 2!
