Agreed, he has been down on form since he came back from
tbe hand injury. Hopefully he has a big one this week.

Joey has been poor but he can still win a game on his own.

I see him coming back next season.

Joey could have gone off and played fullback at another club, earned over $1m and made over 300mtr each week
great bloke and will only play for roosters if he comes back to nrl
he at times has struggled to get involved and interested at centre but maybe also we aren’t using him as well
had 10 tries in the first half of the year and has not scored sense so abit off on form

I wouldn’t be surprised if he is back
don’t think he will go close to making the all blacks though back 3 need pace and centres are less utilised and need tackling technique
he will have fun there in Japan though easy 16 round comp and enjoyed come culture for big money

shows super rugby interest atm but don’t think he would have done that well anyway, and like it’s been said he knew all blacks were selected playing in NZ only
and if they ever do go outside this they will pick some former guys who have played over 50 tests and experienced and proven players

              Hutch is the man!
He has a big boot, and is a great back up.
He doesn't cost a fortune and is big enough.
Should never have let him go.
              Bring him back!!!

              Manu?
By the time he wants to come back Marky will have taken his spot.

I reckon Joey is bored playing in the centres.

                          That's what Latrell said.
He said he was bored playing in the centres.
Among a lot of other things he said.

Teddy is magic at FB, busts tackles, makes many metres, scores tries himself and does try assists.
                          Better FB than Manu? Yes.
Why Teddy is still unsigned, with Nov 1 looming large, is anyone's guess.

Apparently they will announce a contract extension for 2026 for Teddy soon
along with walker for 2 years to 2027
I think Manu would be a great individual fullback but not the greatest team player - he has done well looking to get young into space though this year

More likely there is no interest from Super Rugby or the All Blacks in Joey. I am sure they can see what we can all see and that is someone who looks completely disinterested in playing football.
