So Poodlegate and Monkeygate are considered to be 8 times worse than what Latrell Mitchell did to the image of the game or does it depend on what colour jersey you're wearing. Let's see what punishment is handed out to JAC for testing positive.

He will get longer than Latrell. They couldn't prove what the substance was in his case but the evidence is there that Foxx had cocaine in his system

WADA are the ones that hand out the lengthy penalties. They were out to destroy the Roosters players.

As Bates points out, the slap on the wrist that was handed to Latrell and will be handed to JAC, will be less than the kick in the nuts that Pearce received for doing nothing illegal.

Nearly every young bloke dabbles in some substance or another these days. Not too many dry hump dogs on camera though I'd doubt.
What Pierce done was more damaging to the NRLs image. imo
BTW if it's not illegal it should be!

Pierce having a friendly chat in a private home, without breaking any laws, is damaging to the NRL's image.

JAC tests positive DUI to cocaine, which is also considered a performance enhancing drug, is not as damaging to the NRL's image.

            Right...

So why did they suspend Mitchell for 1 game, What did he actually do wrong? You're either free to play or a lengthy suspension Imo. I don't get the soft in-between punishment!

Spot on. The Pearce suspension was an absolute disgrace when compared to other subsequent events.

The Administrators are spineless and extreme woke.

I can count several public indiscretions LM has had since leaving our stables and all he's ever copped is a feather duster.

Incredible that one being can bring the game into disrepute and walk away time and time again smiling.

It would seem there's an underlying factor playing out here but, NRL are too gutless to admit it.
To say it here would be considered racist.

There have been numerous players over the years caught on camera with a white substance, I don’t recall any of them getting any more of a fine/suspension than what Mitchell did.

does he get some favourable decisions? possibly.
but not in the white substance situation.

They weren't WADA drug testers who came in and tested our players after a reflection on a table went viral. They were representatives from the NRL.

We've never seen anything like it before and nothing since with plenty of incidents to use as examples.

Plain and simple we were targeted. For what reason who knows because the NRL never offered a public comment or apology to the players. Need to get off their high horse about moral integrity and protecting image.

Why 1 week though? JAC should only get 1 week using the NRL's measuring stick and the same should apply for all players moving forward.

Didn't Wendell Sailor cop a 2 year ban for testing positive to Cocaine? It almost feels like it's no big deal these days.

Tbh we're lucky our boys escaped too much scrutiny after their fan streaming episode at this year's magic round.

That was pretty red hot from what I watched.
