far out, why is everyone bagging the coach all the time? We play poor one game and everyone decides its the coaches fault, and he needs to be sacked. Its like youve all forgotten about where we finished in 2010.

        One poor game???

I actually think we have a massive amount of talent in our squad and huge potential but they are never going to develop playing the way they are. Ad lib footy is great when it all sticks but when it doesnt it is so bad. We need to find a structure to play to.

What I meant was that whenever we play crap the coach gets the blame, whenever we play well, 'Keep the coach'

            Fair point.

I think the Melbourne Storm are a great example. they have a style of footy they play and every new player be it a transfer in or a young player coming through knows exactly what their role in the structure is. Gives them confidence to play their game and do it well

That could be more a reflection on the quality of this year's competition.

                  What?
Most of the teams really really even?
Some of the teams really good & the rest crap?
Most of the teams really ordinary?

Surely you can see that it's a poor standard competition. We are fortunate that there are several others besides us.

If Smith wanted Anasta gooone it would have happened by now.
Weekly the fat Greek hijacks the ball and we lose.
Smith is a former schoolteacher who has never coached a premiership victory.
Braith and Smith hopefully will be a dirty memory in years to come.

Flanagan from the Sharks might even win it this year!

                            I know right
                            But thats not Smiths fault.
I cant really say coz i dont know who makes the decisions but if Smith just coaches the players and hes doing a good job thats fine but if hes the one thats making the teams thats appauling. Hes also gotta stick with one gameplan not this ad-lib shit.
The board is the problem. They need t ogive more control to the coach Im sure he would get rid of thedead wood and rejuvanate the squad. When at Eels he had alot of power. He got them 2 minor premierships and a grand final and produced many good juniors now ruled under a board of tyrants hes useless.

Where are you getting this information from redrooster?

Just to clarify I have always said that the Roosters should honour Smith's contract but IMO he will never win a comp while he is the coach at the Roosters.

IMO again, Hasler will win a comp for the Dogs, Griffin will win a comp for the Broncos & Bennett will win a comp with Newcastle. And I hate to write it but Michael Maguire will take Souths to a premiership.
Its sad that the Bulldogs and Souffs will win a premiership before us. Bulldogs cheat more than the Storm. Cheap shots by Ennis, Vaseline tactics etc etc. I hate them and the fact that theyre angry at us for us doing them a favour. We took sponges like Anasta, O'Meley
Grubs like Myles, FPN and duds like Kouparitsas. It didnt affect their club at all just cap space.

And the Souffs. I dont need to explain

I love the old "we are in a rebuilding phrase".

Melbourne Storm at the end of 2010 lose Jeff Lima, Aiden Toleman, Brett White, Ryan Hoffman, Brett Finch, Greg Inglis. 2009 Will Chambers, Steve Turner, James Maloney, Joseph Tomane, Dallas Johnson. 2008 Jeremy Smith, Anthony Kaufusi, Mick Croker. They also lost Blair & are coming first this year.

I think someone at the Storm knows how to coach & even though you never here the Storm trot out the line we are in a rebuilding phase they dead set were in a rebuilding phase & still managed take out the Minor premiership.
