And don't mention the win/loss ratio, I didn't see UncleNick drop a ball or miss a tackle. His job is to provide the platform for us to have the opportunity to make a GF.

Since he got Gus and Freddy the club has been as competitive as any club.

What else could Nick realistically do???

Mate there can only be one winner each year so surely judging success just by numbers of premierships is too simplistic - there are obviously some spectacularly unsuccessful organisations out there.

Politis has been chairman since what 93.

I'm yet to see him miss a tackle or drop the footy or lose us a GF.

I have seen his influence turn us from punching bags to a very competitive club for a long period. His influence has secured us some decent coaches and players and administrators and sponsors.

What else should or could he have done with the club???

Um, I was so very proud of the team for making the 2010 Grand Final. There is no shame in being a runner up. Many players never get to play in a grand final at this level, let alone win one. That doesn't automatically mean they were not champions, talented, skillful or high achievers. No wonder so many kids today think they are failures if they don't automatically bring home straight A's from school. Some of you on here demand perfection each and every time. That is totally unrealistic.

Some ask me why my hair (or what's left of it) is so grey?
I tell them "it's hereditary....you get it from your kids".
