Yep.
Some ask me why my hair (or what's left of it) is so grey?
I tell them "it's hereditary....you get it from your kids".
And that my friends is the truth, but I love them all with everything possible, no matter what their failings.
A bit like being a Roosters fan?
I'm spending my long weekend colouring all the grey out of my hair too! I have no children apart from 17 tattooed boys from Bondi. I wanna look pretty for the Manly game in a couple of weeks.

Get s broom thru our club.
Oldfield must be bought
Better gameplan needed
Smith has improved us but wont take us to a premiership and a top 4 side.
He also has a new gameplan every week and is scared of Politis.
My post was never intended to be about the coach, it was more about club management
And im sure others here know it to be true
Smith wanted to make a couple of signings, for 2011 and 2012, believe it or not our cap is stretched and has been for ages. That may be the biggest reasons with lack of signings.
Been told Pearce is our highest paid player, round 10% of cap
None of the Bulldog players Myles, Anasta, Mason, Omeley came cheap, but the last 2 specifically with being released early meant we had to back end others contracts like FPN and Perrett who are on very good money last 2 years of contract
Basically very little room to move if any, and considering the performances its mismanagement of the cap
to paint the picture Ryles was let go for cap reasons
another point Braith & Smith dont have a good relationship
but to end on a positive note even given for the cap dramas we will have cap room for SBW, I think hes already decided and its being kept quiet

Mike Oldfield will be our saviour & Goat is the best poster on this forum.

Good news if true RR. Will be interesting to see how the Smith/SBW relationship unfolds - should they both be at the club in 2013.
Melbourne Storm at the end of 2010 lose Jeff Lima, Aiden Toleman, Brett White, Ryan Hoffman, Brett Finch, Greg Inglis. 2009 Will Chambers, Steve Turner, James Maloney, Joseph Tomane, Dallas Johnson. 2008 Jeremy Smith, Anthony Kaufusi, Mick Croker. They also lost Blair & are coming first this year.
I think someone at the Storm knows how to coach & even though you never here the Storm trot out the line we are in a rebuilding phase they dead set were in a rebuilding phase & still managed take out the Minor premiership.
The Storm is a silly example to use. Every point they score stems from 3 players, the other 14 are window dressing. Take those 3 out of the Storm I wonder how much we'd be talking Bellemy up?

Chook.
I reckon using the storm to win a Rugby League argument is like using Hitler to win a political argument - as soon as you resort to using it you automatically lose the argument.

Take the 3 best players out of any team that has won a premiership and they too would struggle to win. Each coach needs a couple superstars to succeed.
Looks like the dragons of 2010 and panthers of 03 are the only real examples of teams with no real superstars but extremely well coached then? In general you need a couple of very very good players to win a premiership and thats what the storm have.

True. but the storm have....
- The best halfback in the comp
- The best hooker in the last decade
- Arguably the best fullback of all time
You have to go back to the Parra of the 80s or the Raiders in the late 80s early 90s for that sorta cattle in those key positions.

Raiders prob had even more with meninga daley clyde and lazarus on top of stuart, belcher, walters. each of these players could be regarded as the best of there decade positonally. realistically should of won another two premierships and become the best team the league had ever seen.
I think only slater would take belchers spot. boxhead and smith would be very close and stuart easily over cronk.

The thread was about what Smith wanted & I said they should honour his contract.
I then added the rest in reply to how many supporters on here keep saying we are young & rebuilding our team.
Mate you can bring Hitler in or anyone else you want to bring in but the facts are what I posted. All this take there 3 best players out & they are nothing, like milanja said take the 3 best players out of any team & see how they go.
You dont give any credit to Bellamy for developing these guys?
At the end of the day theticket I think Bellamy is the best coach in the NRL & you dont. We will leave it at that.
i just dont think bellyache fits in with our culture and history! smith is a gentleman, bellyache is an uncouth foul mouthed know all whos used to gettingt his way on everything!
