I am not worried about wet weather.

I am more concerned about why our players hardly ever kick deep for the corners, but instead put up mindless midfield bombs from 40 metres out that usually are too deep or have no chasers or even when there are chasers then no one actually jumps up to compete for the ball.

That is down to terrible coaching. If the coach wants them to kick to the corners, they will do that. If they dont do that, then the coach should chop their legs off or drop them to newtown.

I am more concerned at friend's repeated ploy of running down the short blind side all game when the blind side is packed with defenders. Again that is terrible coaching. If he is doing that against the coaches orders, its simple - either cut off his feet or drop him to newtown until he learns not to do it.

Its not rocket science.

And since Pearce and Anasta are our halves and are responsible for the kicking, who do you propose Smith replace them with if he chooses to demote them? How do you know this is the coach's plan and Pearce and Anasta are doing their own thing? Pearce did the same mindless bombing in SOO1 - was that Stuart's decision or Pearce's? Or maybe we can blame Smith for that? I believe Anasta was responsible for that mindless repeated blind side play late in the game against Manly and he was hooked by Smith not long after.

or maybe he has simply told the players to just do whatever rubbish they want. Surely that is not acceptable to you - if that is the role of the coach (to not have any plan at all) then smith is even worse than we all give him credit for.

Notwithstanding that we are half way through the year and I am sure even you would admit that finishing only 2 games out of the top 8 last year, we would have finished in the 8 and gone close to winning it had it not been for the off-field dramas out of Smith's control, I do believe he deserves to finish off what he started to do for the long-term benefits of the club. My view is you're a troll or you're Braith Anasta here spitting the dummy at a coach who had the audacity to not want you. You signed up to this forum just 2 months after the Roostes signed Smith, a coach renowned for cleaning out the dead wood from clubs. And Braith has certainly been living in that catergory for quite a few years. You even signed the petition to keep yourself at the club. And the fervour at which you have attacked Brian has escalated since he offered to drive you to Concord oval. I also hold the view that the footballer Anasta and fred68 the forum contributor have other things in common. You're both farking hopeless at your chosen gigs and you're both the biggest sooks I have ever seen.

If, as you have stated many times, that you know for a fact that Smithy will not be here next year then your vendetta against him would not exist as you would just accept going along for the bumpy ride this year knowing that he won't be here next year.
