Its quite interesting that the rumours that people like Fred get excited about (as in this case) probably have their source of origin as his own uneducated ramblings.

Im not going to get into this whole coach slanging match and i even think smith has done a good job with a young squad however fred is 100% right in that smith has lost the dressing room. I speak to a lot of players due to same age and living in the east and i can tell you they cannot stand brian smith. The players do not hold back in telling everyone how much they hate smith. The rumours of text msgs at all hours of the night are true and they cant stand him as a person. They belive time has passed him by and he has no idea of how to play the modern game.

Pearce hates the way smith wants to play and he needs structure in his play,he knows he is no T Carney and likes to have forwards hit it up then have plays and moves yet smith has no plays just wants everyone to play whats in front of them,even if most of them dont even understand what that is. Carney is in his ear about getting out but he loves the club. Anasta, who should thank smith for even being in the team, is the same and is no longer on speaking terms with Smith. Tom symonds,ant mitchell and bosdon think smith has it in for them.

I dont want the club to sack smith because of players not being happy, the style of footy we play puzzles me and if we dont improve then he needs to go. I believe smith has done a good job with the young players so this is not another smith bashing post, just wanted people to know its true the players are unhappy. Hopefully we win on sunday and can turn our season around otherwise this will just keep getting worse.

You will then face a different problem - trying to fill the numbers from other teams which isn't easy when it's such a high number, plus there's never a guarantee that the new players will perform better, plus it's more than likely that the new players eventually will feel the same as the departing ones - because the main problem is smith & son. Just look at some of your own names that you have used as examples - some of them are already new players to our club.

The playing group do have a good bond together this year, it is the main thing that is helping to keep us competitive on the field in most games otherwise we would be in parras shoes. They are good kids who are sadly let down by terrible coaching. They deserve better. Expect things to get worse rather than better as the more losses will mount up in the second part of the season.

The only option available in these circumstances is exactly what the club will do.

Fred whether you are right, wrong or indifferent is irrelevant. You an an obsessed tool and most on here are sick of your obsessed ravings.

This is the point. If Smith gets sacked because he can't find the dressing room anymore, then that is Nick's decision to make and as a supporter all I want is for our club to be strong, ethical and successful. But for me it is Fred's obsessive ramblings and infiltration of almost every thread with his Smith hatred that has become extremely annoying. It's almost troll-like. We get your opinion, we get that you know stuff we don't. We get that you don't rate and hate Smith. You don't need to remind us about it in every single thread every single day. It would be nice instead of focusing on what you see as the negatives so much that you get behind the team and offer some positive thoughts occasionally.

Yes, sometimes it's the players who need to just harden up and get on with things. The world is made up of many different personalities and people need to learn to accommodate this. have you considered that they may not be happy with him and past recent coaches because the recent chain of coaches that they have had have been terrible? That may be a possibility to consider.

players under bellamy, bennett, hasler and certain other coaches in the comp aren't complaining.

look at some of the coaches you are named there - hardly good coaches.

and look at smith's reputation at other clubs as well.

I think Smith's time is up but I can't see us getting any of the coaches that you have mentioned. All I can see happening is us going back to Stuart.
