Get rid of this idiotic rooster style footy and grind it out. If we do that we have a good chance but if not it’s bye bye 2024.

Our ‘rooster style’ footy needs to be reviewed by Nick. This will be another year where the season’s main news will be the Eastern Suburbs flop, the second in successive years where we were tipped by some to take the trophy but flopped big time once again not only to injuries but mainly to poor discipline, errors and multiple suspensions and sin bins. Let’s face it, like Cronulla, the only true reason we made the top 4 was a super easy roster but every time we played a decent team we had our pants pulled down. Another season of being flops and has beens due to this stupid rooster style footy which has made us the most error prone team in the NRL.

Start fast and discipline. That will win us the game.

That sense of anticipation and trepidation is really kicking in.Hopreully we see a lot more intensity right from kick off this week. JWH's inclusion will result in more aggression but it needs to be a pack effort. There are a couple of our forwards who are very skilful but way too passive for mine. If every Rooster walks off having made a contribution than we win. Up the Roosters!

                    Wow that's so good.

In other news, I've been to the toilet 3 times in 20 minutes.

5 teams remaining and we are paying $15 to win the comp. Who would have thought that?

Perfectly reasonable given our path to the premiership involves a trip to Melbourne should we survive today and we are also the only team missing their starting halfback and hooker.

Good that Vic is in and starting likely means pain not an issue for him and he won't be too hampered.

I think a bit rough on Wong, although expected. He was great last week in a well beaten forward pack. I do not get the Nat Butch hate on here, I'm a fan of his but I'll say til I'm blue in the face he offers next to nothing off the bench. If he is in the 17 his role should be as a starting lock or back rower to play big mins given he's a tackle bot and reliable defender. Off the bench he brings no punch. Virtually the opposite goes for Sitili. Turnstile liability in defence on an edge but great punch through the middle when coming off the pine.

Still think parking Mark N in the garage is a bit of a mistake while we have our big attacking x factor out with an ACL injury and the other big attacking x factor parked out wide dreaming of sushi, a huge payday and rolling maul.

                                Anyways, carrrn easts.
