Down by 6 and coming back and somehow Atkins misses a clear knock on by the Storm and the next play they score. Game done as we had too play catch up

I was more pissed Atkins didn’t have the balls to bin Hughes in the second minute and make it 11 v 13 like it should’ve been.

Meh I'm shattered that our season's over but dunno how much use it is going through every 50/50 call and saying 'we were robbed'.

Like I dunno for starters...

- NAS coulda been sent off (2nd in... late and a reckless shoulder charge to the head)

- Hughes coulda been binned for 10.

- NAS' milking either never woulda happened if he was sent off, or coulda been completely ignored.

- Ref coulda been less hyperactive about calling 6 agains the whole time.

- The good old 'caught in goal' run coulda either been called in the field of play (with him being pushed back in-goal) or sure... 7 tackles but WAIT!

- Knock-on instead of try in that Crichton situation.

... the list goes on! However IMO the MOMENTUM of the game was such that we were getting bashed. We had a lucky start and failed to capitalise on it. If (for example) Sua'ali'i made that first conversion (almost did), Watson didn't knock-on 10m out on the 2nd tackle and our defence was tighter then it ALSO woulda been a different game.

Bad luck. We didn't! Hurts but I don't think Atkins pulled the wool over our eyes. We were beaten in a fair contest despite showing glimmers of hope along the way. Sigh... maybe 2025?
