Can’t change what’s happened and suspending him won’t do anything for us. I want him out there in the GF if they play the Riff.
Anyone but the Riff.
Yep I'm pretty indifferent. He wasn't sent off and Hughes (who also won't be suspended) wasn't sin-binned.
Drizz or Pemriff next week? Again I don't give a cr@p. Both clubs have enough recent premierships. One of the two will win (probably Pemriff) and I won't be watching.
Nelson has 2 charges from round 22 and 24 for careless hi contact and round 11 dangerour contact. All fines.
he should be done for 2 weeks. Direct contact with the head. Doesnt bend his back and leads with his shoulder. I think it was deliberate
DT today quotes JWH and Keary as supporting Solomona and saying he should playing in the GF.
They are a joke.
He flattened Collins and put him out him out of the game, costing us dearly ...and these two of our players don't seem to care....want him to suffer no suspension.
Where's their support for Collins and the Roosters for the future?
They should be demanding he gets 4 weeks.
With attitudes like that it's probably best they're departing.
The protection of players in theory is a good thing but doesn't really work in practice.. A 10 minute rest and what could be considered a small fine for the offender (on a high salary) players and coaches are getting away with a plan to eliminate a prime player for a token slap on the wrist. With the NAS hitting Collins example of shoulder to the head tackle, the deterrent should be no return in the game for the player sent in the bin if Cat 1, and a fine which should be a minimum $25000 or $30000 at the very least. If we had gone through Lindsay's loss would have been far greater in not only missing the rest of the game but also maybe once in a lifetime opportunity to compete in a GF.
