We need him back. Watson is just too slow between the ears to be our regular no.9.

We don't have a real 9. Watson and B Smith are utilities.

    A real 9 is a priority going into 2025.

Big Dog would sign the Manga Carta if it was player to quote Peter Peters on Roosters signings - Watson is a utility player nowadays and was one of the Roosters best tonight - I have high hopes for Tyler Moriarty and Benaiah Ioelu to crack NRL in 2025

Watson is a gun but you can tell that he is ways behind legitimate hookers in attack and with his dummy-half service. He is unable to pass the ball from the ground, most of the time he picks it up then throws it, which wastes valuable seconds. Verrills would be a good buy, he was on the field for most of the year and his service is slick - almost Mitch Kenny like - and he’s got a good running game to pair with it.

Watson tried his guys out tonight and is an outstanding player, but you only have to compare him to Grant to see that he isn’t an out-and-out hooker. He is a good fill in to have though.

We may have a good up-and-comer as well, that’s also another option

How many more threads will Big Dog create tonight? Bloke has all the answers from sitting on his couch.

Big dog give it up mate put the phone down and go to bed.

What we need is to work on our defence been terrible all year until we can fix that we will just be making up the numbers.

Been saying that for the last few years.

Is that like the Magna Carta?

                    Yep, a cheap Asian rip-off.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I like Verills but Brandon is better than him despite my agreement with an above poster that he is not a proper hooker. If the Roosters are going to market to sign a good hooker I'd love either Reece Robson or Cam McInness

I would go for Jayden Brailey. Not wanted at Knights. Stop gap you could look at Matt Parcell for a year. Just finished up at Hull Kr and 31. Might be cheap for 12 months

Of course I am speculating, but I think sacking Verrills was not good for morale. I think he was popular.

Again I don't know, I just have a feeling things aren't what they should be at the Roosters at the momkent. The way we got FLOGGED by Penrith, and especially Melbourne just doesn't seem right. Yep, I know we took care of 7th placed Manly.

                            Just my thoughts.
