For me I was hoping to win but in my reality I knew we would lose.
Robbo has fallen way behind Cleary and Bellamy ..and it's a worry.
Something has to change or we are looking at 10th spot.

      Finishing 3rd is FANTASTIC.

What we dished up against the Panthers / Storm in the semi's is and was atrocious. So I think the season was a huge FAIL.

Injuries have not helped us for 5 years straight but the fact we can beat most teams by 40 but are so far behind the top 2 is bad
we can’t compete when it gets tough, defence is non existent and building pressure in attack and simple posession and territory we fail as we drop the ball and give penalaties away way to often

ANY person that posts on this site could never be considered a fairweather fan. Seriously, who else could be ****ed coming onto an internet forum to post their opinions on a sporting team. Only retard tragics like us.

Maybe the biggest fail is us, with raised expectations of the ability of our players.
As per defense, if there were ways to improve that aspect of each of our players, it would have been enacted, the simplistic notion that someone can be schooled to defend, is questionable, to a small degree maybe, otherwise it is natural ability to better defenders.

The way forward is patience with our identified talent progressing through our pathways .
Good luck buying on a competitive open market,

These are the facts, well done mate..

Every time I hear the media report our bad record against the Storm and Panthers over the last 5 years they always fail to mention the possible reasons behind it..

2 acl injuries in one game to rep players over those past 5 years,as well as fielding depleted teams at times due to constant injury and suspensions..

Although I don’t like to make excuses, sometimes a little perspective goes a long way..

I tipped us to lose by 30 points before kick off last night (not on here as I've historically done, but to my 93yo aunt).

                  I call that a pass.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I have paid for my seasons tickets annd my interstate trips including the crap we served up in 2006 to 2009 and then again from 2011 and 2012. Always hoping, always believing and always supporting. it is embarrassing that we have as a club been so far behind the operations of the storm and panthers when we aim so high.
I am not a fair weathered fan just because I think we have under performed.

Bellamy - to good. How did he know to run at Angus and Keary to get those results.

Politis was in Melbourne last night. He should of followed Bellamy home and asked him: " what will it take to get you to coach the mighty R W & B ??

We passed with our attack because of Justin Holbrook. Now we need a defence coach to do the job as well as a half that can kick a ball & has some size about him. They are out there just need to identify them like the storm. Wishart would be perfect. Atkinson from Cronulla would help.

Robbo still hasn't progressed since the rule changes, it's a shame cause he's had some killer squads that should be matching Penrith and Melbourne but he's just stuck in his ways.

if we'd beaten the full strength minor premiers away without our starting half and hooker and with rads playing badly injured it would have been a major upset - look at the odds the bookies were offering.
we had a fair season and, once again, injuries didn't help when it came to the finals
