Yep the Riff are a composed side. Grind away, try trapping you in your half and every player knows their job...well oiled machine.

Brad Schneider would be someone we may look at. He sat on the bench tonight and didn’t get a run. He is quite tall comes from a great system can kick and has played well in Cleary’s absence. Now he has won a premiership he might be looking for opportunities.

Absolute hack surrounded by guns....case in point Cogger. Schneider and Coggers level is reserve grade or England

A very very distant 3rd with a pretty decent team.

Dear me...it seems that the Rugby League world is so devoid of any current/ previous/ coaching/ assistant coaching / previous playing people in its ranks.

We better keep the current long standing devoid of any fresh ideas who cant narrow the gap coach.

Pretty sure Roosters hierarchy knows more than the average joe where to look.

Anyone but the current one who's time is up.

Did the Broncos or Souths fans/ club officials ask but who when they sacked their coachs this year?

I guarantee neither of those clubs would have sacked their coach if they were entrenched in the top 4.

I'd never leave a job unless * had another lined up.
Sack a coach and bring in who ?
                    JD
                    Brad Arthur
                    Barrett

Trent ain't going no place......until there's a better alternative and then I reckon the board could be ruthless.

If we wait for what fans et al think is a "better alternative" he can probably Coach till he needs full time care.

It's more about if we /he need a change.

There would be plenty looking for an opportunity at NRL level. Holbrook, Lam off the top of my head...would be more smart operators emerge off a little digging.

K they might be wanting a gig but what's their form....def not 3 titles.

What i don't buy is that heaps of other clubs lose to the Riff and Driz....just me but that's a losing mindset.

Yeah that do and who do we wanna be the team that competes or just go well sweet cause other teams can't match them.

                        • If we were to replace Robbo which I don't think we should but IF we did I'd chase Craig Fitzgibbon quite hard. He's a club legend that has got to the finals all 3 years with the Sharks, two top four finishes and was Robbo's right hand man before going to the Sharks.

I don't think we can wait for someone to win 3 comps and then sign them though. Robbo was a rookie when we signed him and doubt anyone thought he had 3 comps in him.

The big difference is that when we signed Robbo he wasn't replacing a premiership winning coach. The last 12 seasons has been the most stable in our clubs history. Prior to this we had 5 coaches in the previous 7 seasons.

Agree he's done well, seems comfy with the Sharkies, nice coastal area and good roster, doubt he'd leave.
