The only way to know his true value is to test the market which opens on the 1st of November. He could potentially be selling himself short to the tune of anywhere between 300k to 500k.

According to Rothfield, the Roosters couldn't bring themselves to pay him more than they pay Teddy (who is on $1.15m). In 2028, I suspect that will no longer be a constraint.
