I think they are just taking their time with Wong. I recall Whyte playing in the middle during his time in reserves. He is a much better player for it.

      Same with Egan Butcher.
There seems to be a method in the coach's madness.

I agree that this is the way Robbo operates, but I don’t think Egan Butcher is a good example of Robbo’s methodology being successful, given Egan hasn’t improved since he debuted; still bog average.

I thought Egan was going OK until he did his knee. He only dropped the ball a couple of times, as opposed to a couple of times a game.

Whats happening with this? I haven't seen anything official as of yet after it was reported weeks again an announcement was imminent.

Only 1 more day until November 1...

I thought the 10 day cooling off period was only for when you signed elsewhere to give you existing club a right of reply.

Yeah possibly. Could possibly apply to all contracts legality wise? Either way it’s dragging on!!

Meanwhile some good news for Sammy and the roosters with the 2 year extension now down through to 2027
                      around $1m for 26/27 seasons
he will hopefully be a 15 year roosters legend by the end
will only be 25 in 2027 so plenty of upside ahead

Correct, it's not actually a 10 day cooling off period for the player but rather a 10 day period where the current club gets one last chance to convince the player to stay.

Agreed, I thought he was starting to establish himself at long last and then he blew the knee.....
