That is, unless there are one or two breakout stars in 2025. So, I thought it might be uplifting to talk about the guys that might exceed expectations and help close the gap, as well as the reasons you're confident they will.
I'll get it started by nominating Blake Steep. The lad looks ready. He's big and strong and agile and will only grow in confidence with another off season pumping weights. He seems right at home in first grade and I think he will quickly nail down a spot. I've seen him compared to Boyd Cordner and it's not just the chin. He has work rate and talent in abundance. He has courage. I think he will give our pack a new dimension.
Your turn...

Training with the NRL boys in pre season and hopefully tears it up.

Just got off the phone to Robbo. He said he's been stalking me on Strava and having been impressed by my recent marathon form he's keen to pull out the big bucks for me.
Teddy will be calling the shots as a ball running, long kicking HB and I'll be investing in a pair of solid ballet shoes for that #1 role.
Talked with Mark N after this verbal agreement and he said that it's all in the mind. I've got a law degree and a good few decades on the competition, so can't see why I shouldn't be able to pickup the theory behind it all.
One word... faaaarkin livewire!!! Think Slime Ankle in NSW Cup (but without the nicotine patches on his knees) or Jacko Hastings in the Super League (with some madarse motivational quotes written on his strapping). Like Walsh but without the mascara. Like Harry Grant / Pappy with slightly looser shorts. A Mundine whose on-field ability is as good as his shyte talking abolity!!! Lessgaaaaaaaw booiz! Jizzy's in da hoooouse.
Get those Imagine Dragons on repeat coz NRL.com's replays are all gonna be of me pirouetting around the placeLast edited by ism22; 10-23-2024, 10:06 AM.
