Ill go against the trend here and say yes to Gutho with a few conditions;
He is signed as a centre
Parra are chipping in a fair portion of his salary
He isnt part of the leadership team (thats for current players)
No more than 2 years
Reason i lean this way;
Everyone is right - he is not a top line fullback - but would be a more than capable centre
Goal kicks just over 70% - not great - but at this point - ill take it
can cover a lot of backline positions - which we need
He does seem like a player that Robbo would go for
and yes he is an effort player - i think most people would agree our team has lacked a few of these type players in the past few years - we have enough flashy players
He fits into that type of player that i think could use a change of club to rejuvenate the back end of their career and i think its low risk.
obviously im in the minority - but i think he is worth a shot. Considering we had a crack at Gagai - id take Gutho over him

They're just trying to push him out so they can free up as much cap space for their rebuild.
Could be worth a look if they contribute 50% of his salary.

A yes from me if Parr chip in with some money,I do believe the forwards will be able to hold there own against most of the opposition packs next year but our back line needs bolstering.
Fullback and wingers are find but the rest of the back line Toia and Nawaqanitawase untested in FG as centre's, Billy Smith who knows how
he will comeback from his latest injury,Pauga is a good stand in for injuries and please don't let Young nowhere near the centre's. Now for Chad Townsend sorry but would rather have Smith halfback and Gutho
at five eight. Hope I'm wrong.

In my opinion, anyone that calls himself “King” is an egotistical, self indulgent wanker, unless his name is Charles and he lives in a palace (probably true then as well).
As to Gutho, I love his passion and drive, but I’m not sure what we’d actually do with him whilst Teddy is at fullback. He’d be very expensive depth.
