My brother and his family have been living there for 20+ years now. Great place but stinking hot in summer.

If he's innocent then he has a 2yr contract extension with the Riff doesn't he?

Parted ways with Penrith so won't be going back there if allowed to play again - have to see what happens with the court case as he was also arrested in August for allegedly breaching the AVO order - refused bail and spent the night behind bars

Would you employ him though - obviously not in a customer service role with that Tattoo

The Rooster for a while now have been getting young boys 14 to 17 from all over the place & bringing them in to the Roosters pathways plus the Roosters have also taken over the Central Coast & started pathways for those young players.
It may be looking all doom & gloom next year & the Chooks may take a hit over the next couple of years but I believe through Robbo' philosophy that the Roosters are going to start producing a lot more players through their pathways & stop buying established first graders from other clubs.
Im also concerned that we havnt bought anyone to replace the 5 big guns that we have lost but on the other hand Im really looking forward to seeing how things pan out next year with a bunch of young blokes.
Are we going to win the comp next year? No
Did anyone think Penrith would win 4 comps 10 years ago when Gus said he had a 5 year plan? No
The pool of players is shrinking so to survive long term the model has to change & the model of buying players is not sustainable.
Penrith & Melbourne produce all their superstars & they then buy 2 or 3 average players who in their systems play above their ability.
That’s not totally true. We have usually bought one or two established players to compliment squads that have largely been nurtured from a young age. Not all local juniors, bc that’s impossible, but many have come up through the sg ball, etc.

The year we came last, we had the youngest team in the league. The nucleus of that team won the comp with a couple of astute buys in Jennings and Sonny Bill. Same goes with buying Cooper Cronk. So many of our teams since 2000 have had players that have been given their first grade debut at the Roosters. Even JWH only had a few games at Manly before finding his feet here and eventually becoming a roosters legend. And Teddy, good as he was, wasn’t a rep player when he came, as has been the case with most signings.

Brisbane Broncos' petty $60 move that ruined any chance of getting Sam Walker back

And when Melbourne do the same Bellamy is a genius. Not the Roosters though.

No King I’d leave him back of house.

Walker and Brandon... could be back by March or so right? (Though more likely June-ish). Will be rough if Townsend/Sandon get injured or suspended. However Watson and Docker-Clay are there. IMO it's Sandon's chance to prove he's got some cojones.

Having Townsend as an on-field coach should be great for him. Worst come to worst, I presume Manu's departure (if we don't see him again after the Japanese yawnion season's over [I suspect he was just a bit worn-out and wanted a paid holiday in Nippon/France... I personally prefer Nippon as France is pretty hectic]) could give Teddy a chance to move into the halves. Dunno who would play FB then (which highlights another key vulnerability without Manu... his ability to cover!) Dare say Watson's the next cab off the rank for FB if Teddy goes down injured? Maybe Mark N once he learns more about the game... probably not during the early rounds with less than 10 games of NRL under his belt though.
                            Wasn't Teddy tried at 6?

                                Good on you.

People like you are extremely few and far in between to offer a human who has gone off the rails a path back into society.

It's one of the most deplorable features of our so called civilised western society to allow (mainly male) prisoners to be brutalised and raped while in prison, with no supervision or leadership except the worst and most violent and inhumane inmates who are allowed to run things. Some might think they have it coming and deserve such dehumanisation for ending up in prison, but for the vast majority of them do not. As if they weren't damaged enough to begin with to end up here, to be subjected to this kind of state sanctioned brutalisation and be told it's "rehabilitation", leaves them with little to no chance of having any human spirit or self esteem to survive if they are ever released.

                                Bravo Thirteen, bravo.
