They would have had to put in the order for the kits including training gear and what for junior reps right through to NRL and NRLW - Plus have stock available for supporters to purchase.

Junior reps start around the first week of February 2025.

Be interesting to see what BYDs are like.

I'm always skeptical of Chinese tech and their government's broader agenda of flooding the market with low-grade EVs.

However, Musk is a d!ck and I'm skeptical about the quality of Teslas (everybody I know who's got one has had issues, but they focus on how they've been fixed via multiple software updates rather than admitting that this is a problem. I also get sick of them sending me messages to say 'just charging the Tesla'. Like bro... 'just filling up the Subaru, check out this mad selfie with it'... nobody gives a fark!)

Also I'm all for promoting the free market. Noting, both the USA and EU have heavily funded their own EV markets while kicking everybody else in the balls with tariffs. Again I'm no massive fan of China but IMO they have a right to compete in our market and Musk's hardly a 'good guy' who deserves hand-outs.

They tried to get out of their contract early but couldn't reach an agreement. From day 1 it was a bit of a cluster fark. Jerseys/trying gear etc was delivered and they couldn't facilitate their gps/stat info etc

That's BS that we would have 2x companies (even though BYD is primarily an automotive EV company). Hyundai does EV's as well.
