I wonder why JT and the brigade haven't come out and demanded a 16 week suspension for this incident.

To draw a parallel to the incident with Spencer and this is absolutely pathetic and shameful. Should result in the immediate termination of the journo and editor who printed it.

Nick P should be using all his power and might to squash this. Even if it was not a Roosters player, linked this blokes horrible and reckless actions to anything that has happened on a footy field is lazy and shameful.

It’s just a deflection and an attempt to buy time while they work out how the can sweep it under the carpet.

My sister and family in BrisVegas, Bronco and Cowboy supporters (to piss off her hubby), anyway sobbing boy hasn't much sympathy with Bronco supporters. Typical News Ltd agenda. Lot of support for cutting him loose, that's her take in her part of town.

          [QUOTE=HunchoRooster;n1076963]

I wonder why JT and the brigade haven't come out and demanded a 16 week suspension for this incident.

Because precious boy Ezra was called a monkey and JT is as I've mentioned many times on here that he is nothing but a braindead hypocrite; so that obviously outweighs the fact a mother, daughter with significant injuries and an Uber driver who was doing nothing but his own job and potentially saving the lives of not only two innocent people and his own life.

To draw a parallel to the incident with Spencer and this is absolutely pathetic and shameful. Should result in the immediate termination of the journo and editor who printed it.

Agree 100%. As Timmah posted earlier, Crybaby wasn't suffering from PTSD whilst stealing phones from a fan when he (Ezra) and mascara, painted fingernails boy were living it up in Bali. Sounds like you're really struggling Ezra with your million-dollar salary having played one decent game of football in your life. Absolute pathetic, biased journalism at its worst.

Nick P should be using all his power and might to squash this. Even if it was not a Roosters player, linked this blokes horrible and reckless actions to anything that has happened on a footy field is lazy and shameful.

This in my opinion goes back to the monkey gate saga. Spencer was suspended because of racism and this where I feel Nick P should have stepped in.

During the Spencer Leniu hearing in March 2024, counsel Lachlan Gyles referred to the Samoan player as "Spencer Luai" and said he played for Tonga instead of Samoa. From my understanding there is no bad blood between Samoans and Tongans but that's beside the point as Gyles should have his facts right from the beginning. He (Gyles) also referred to the Andrew Symonds monkey comment before Leniu was even born and the Adam Goodes 'ape comment' from a 12-year-old girl. Yes, I'm sure we (boy or girl) knew all the right things to say at that age . I very much doubt Spencer would have even known who Goodes was (or is) unless he had a vested interest in AFL (which I very much doubt he did).

Mam cries because he is called a monkey and Spencer receives an 8-week suspension. Spencer gets called a coconut, Luai (now there's reason for complaint) and a Tongan but he just smiles because he knows there is no malice in the comment, and he moves on. What Nick P should have done is challenge the finding from the NRL judiciary on the fact that they (NRL) found Spencer guilty based on racism which is so far from the truth it isn't funny. He (Spencer) is nothing but a sincere family man who is marrying a Greek lady later this year. If the NRL judiciary needed a reference into Spencer's character who better to start with than an opposition coach than a clean skin such as Ivan Cleary (who knows Spencer very well) and go from there. And if the NRL don't want an unbiased view, best they stay away from the likes of Thurston, Latrell, Thaiday, Tuqiri, Sailor, Hynes - the list goes on.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

I’m no psychiatrist, but clearly he needs to confront the pain by coming to Easts to win a premiership with Spencer.

The sad bit is that if he’s sacked by Maguire, another team ( Dolphins) will jump in and sign him up. Best outcome should be he is stood down until his matter is resolved by the courts ( ala De Belin) and then and only then if found guilty he foes to jail or gets an ICO and is suspended from playing NRL , or any league, for 24 months.
Todd Carney didn’t hurt anyone with his bubbler .

I doubt he will get sacked. Then it is over to the NRL.

If an individual driving without a license and under the influence of drugs and causing severe injury to a 4 year old child and an adult (lucky neither died - bless them) is not worse than the 8 weeks for calling someone a name or dry humping a dog then the game is gone.

At this stage until he is actually charged by the police, it may be a bit of ‘nothing to see here’. The question is why hasn’t he been charged by the police?

I assume they're waiting for the result of the secondary drug test.

When did Mam start taking drugs?

When did he have his first alcoholic drink?

When did his drivers license become invalid?

It's obvious that all roads lead to Spencer!
