May is 25, you will not find many 25 year olds in western society that are 100% into something......what a poor way to treat a young man who by all accounts is also a good man.

The real reason they let Terrell go was to get Hunt. No other reason.
Robbo loves the Butcher boys, can't let Wong or Whyte go. Terrell was the only guy. The only other alternative was Brandon Smith, but who would take him?
The Roosters are deliberately keeping everyone in the dark including the playing group so as to not jeopardise their pursuit of Hunt.
Hunt wants two years. Hopefully it's not another Fafita botch up and it's all worth it.

It seems with all the recent departures that money would not be a concern should we get Hunt?

Terrell May signs three-year deal with Wests Tigers
The Wests Tigers have agreed to terms on a three-year deal with prop forward Terrell May after he was granted an immediate release from the Sydney Roosters.
The Tigers have edged out St George Illawarra for May’s services on a lucrative deal that will see him remain at the joint venture club until at least the end of 2027.
May informed St George Illawarra coach Shane Flanagan of his decision on Monday morning.
The news is a significant boost for the Wests Tigers, who have been looking for a frontrower during the past few months.
They’ve held conversations with both Canberra’s Corey Horsburgh and Brisbane’s Kobe Hetherington but were unable to land a deal.
Part of the appeal of linking with the Wests Tigers was reuniting with the likes of Jarome Luai and Sunia Turuva.
