Read today that Teddy , our captain didn't even know that Terral May was asked to leave. Makes Lense sense all the time. What a way to treat a top line player and to leave the captain out of the loop.

Incidentally, Sua'ali'i said that he doesn't drink alcohol (and we know May doesn't). Sounds like a lot of these islanders are staying off the booze, training hard and seeing some pretty awesome fitness outcomes.
Though my rig is comparable to Peter Andre's at his prime, I'm still jelly of these boys.Last edited by ism22; 11-16-2024, 06:40 PM.

Team selection and tactical decisions, sure. But if I was a player I wouldn't want my captain having a say in my contract, creates a weird dynamic.

1. They don't drink alcohol.
2. They regularly do yoga or some form of stretching.
3. They weigh no more than 75 kg
4. They smoke weed or make special butter as a alcohol replacement.
The older you get the harder it is to pop up onto your feet when surfing. This becomes increasingly more difficult if you're over weight.

I know as a boss myself I try to do my best not to bug my guys when they're trying to detatch from work on days off or annual leave.
I hear what you're saying but the best part of that Teddy interview for me is how fresh he said he felt with the time off on holidays and not playing rep footy. I'd take that over him being bugged during his holidays so he could be prepared with a response to the question.

Wonder how stoned surfing works.

I have told you a thousand times no one had any idea that Terrell would be getting a 6:00am phone call from Robbo telling him his services would no longer be needed.
Terrell didn't known, Tedesco didn't know, Terrell's manager didn't know.
It hasn't been mentioned anywhere the time he received the call.
That's the facts, but hey Facebook knows best.

A girl who I was seeing for while ('beachbum' / 'wavechic101' for anybody who does urbex) used to go to the caves on the side of the cliff and/or drain pipes for similar purposes.
Never used it myself but I always felt that users ended up going on some crazy journeys just so they could suck smoke out of a Gatorade bottle. That or they're tight@rses who steal lengths of my you bewt Hoselink hose (which makes me cry as it then bunches up inside the mechanism, forcing me to have to fish it out... gaaar).

Back on topic... Scope's poddie suggests:
- Robbo called May personally and it was a difficult conversation for him. There was apparently some honesty from May's side in it though (i.e. admitted he's not all in with Easts and his footy... our culture demands players buy in 100%, which can be a big weight).
- May has met with Benji and is good mates with Luai. Just one option but the Tigpies, Doggies (existing relationship with Ciraldo) and Dragons look likely.
