    Tough poll...

Debuts in 2024 - Steep, Salle
Already commanding a FG spot - Whyte, Wong
Return from significant injuries in 2024 - X, Tyler, Benny, Lesi
Solid in Cup - Taylor, Max

wow... career? that can last one week in this game, but for these lads in RWB, hopefully a lengthy, healthy & prosperous one.

I went for a steep because of the Cordner factor

I hope the brothers. Will be great to watch two big agro brothers steaming into opposition forward packs wearing our colours.

I'd be interested to know which of the brothers you think has the highest ceiling, Salle or X? I suspect a few on here will be thinking it's Salle just because he got his debut first, but I know X suffered several set-backs with injury. With Xavier now recovered fully (I hope), if he gets a full pre-season would you think he would be chosen before Salle for the next vacancy in the NRL?

Can't split them tbh... offer a very strong 1-2 punch combo so to speak... being developed over the last couple of years very well imho by the Chooks system... X would of debuted already had he not suffered the injuries he did & that's from HQ... fully fit, both are direct, big motors & do not shy away from that physical middle battle... stats don't always show what they contribute to the team effort but inside the group, they are valued.

Still young but understand the legacy left behind of the men who have worn the RWB 8 & 10 before them.

Hopefully they both, not only get a run in the nrl, but a crack in the top side together.

Respectfully, they chose to be here, I'm hoping they stay here! If you don't love what you do or who/what you represent, then what's the point being here?

That's great to hear. The young people of today can amaze you sometimes. You think they live in the present but when presented with the past sometimes they get it straight away. I was lucky enough to coach Western Division Under 18's for a number of years in the Country Championships. IF you know anything about country footy, then you have heard of the Western Division team of 1974 that won the midweek Amco Cup. Bigger underdog story then Dodgeball or Cool Runnings combined. We had a weekend camp the first yuear I coached and after dinner one night I asked the boys what they knew of our history. Unsurprisingly, noine of them were aware of the team from 74. So over the next few weeks I educated them on those who had gone before them and introduced them to some of the players from that legendary team. To my surprise, they embraced it completely and their catch cry became '74'. Everytime they were struggling or under pressure, somebody would cry out 74 and it carried them all the way to the Grand Final which they won comfortably. In his acceptance speech our young captain dedicated the win to the spirit of the guys from 74. I have never been so proud as a coach as what I was of that team that day.

May your young nephews go on and do great things and create their own legacies as Roosters

Thanks mate. Couldn't agree with you more in re to building team/club culture. I'm old enough to remember the Amco cup games being screened on our tvs even in NZ. Strap yourselves in for 2025, another bumpy ride.

Thanks for the considered response. I can’t wait to see them both out there bending the line for us.

                      BTW, are they still boxing?

PS: I knew you wouldn’t favour one

Still have the odd hit out on the bags/pads but boxing taken a back seat, for now, with a clear focus on their footy goals... who knows, one of those circus footy fights in the future maybe?...

PS... Boxing basics 101... a solid jab setting up a big rear hand, can wrap things up quite quickly... I like them both as a 1-2 combo, sometimes one is the "feeler" (jab) & the other is the "finisher" (rear hand cross)... so on their own, not as effective hahahaha
