I have never once bagged Smith openly on this forum but its time to say something bleeding fking obvious.

Yes, it was wet today and yes handling was an issue but that goes for both sides so its a bullshit argument.

The problem is, we have NO structure and that is plain and simply a coaching issue. Nothing more, nothing less. With the players we have, there is no excuse as to why we should be where we are after todays result.

Its not just Smith, there is an entire coaching team that needs it bloody arse kicked and kicked fkn HARD!

Thanks for the warning but ive been called a lot worse. Those who dont agree however have their reasons I am sure but I reckon deep down most here are starting to agree. As I said, I rarely bag the coach but its time something needs to be said.

You are right Paul in that he has blooded some talent but that talent was coming through no matter what. Problem is, as you said, he cant get them to gel which again is a structure issue.

I think having been dumped on by Brisbane in the SFS again just goes to show the team is floundering on old coaching techniques. Feel sorry for Smith but not sure what other option than to get rid of him is there...and all of his posse. Fresh coach, fresh ideas fresh attitude is needed.

Thats pretty much the same team as today kid. Its not an issue of picking the team. Its getting them to grow, be confident, giving their game structure and gel with one another. These things are much more important than who plays 1-17.

Yess Ralph / no structure for our team. I am showing my age here but I remember in 67 68 we were a young team of nobody's and gibbo got the best out of them with structure under the 4 tackle rule - our current players can become a team like gibbos sides yet we need a coach who knows what to do with his talent
