You can front end contracts, upgrade existing players which would all make sense when there isn't much out there to choose from.
I agree, but if all we do is front end contracts and we don't fill the holes we need to & perform next season, we will end up like the Tigers in no time.

            • The rumour in some media is Hunt for a bit over $800k to the ponies.

Life goes on and we face next season hopefully with some grit and purpose. Oh and let's work on cutting out the stupid errors and maybe some practice on holding on to the ball

              • IT’S official - Ben Hunt will be playing for the Brisbane Broncos under new coach Michael Maguire in 2025. Hunt has agreed to a two-year deal worth around $600,000-a-season to return home to Red Hill in Brisbane.

                    • So they get him for considerably cheaper than he’s on now and with a roster stacked with origin players. I wonder if Tallis will cast any innuendo over this signing.

                      • Yeah but the ponies offered him a job after he's done playing.....maybe that's a big earner

Some shocking takes from you recently Bates.

Now just spitting out pure dribble?

I am confident they have 1 or 2 signings in mind with upgrading young players contracts, upgrading younger players in to the full time, players who have pay rises in 2025 etc We are still in November of 2024 there's a lot to happen between round 1 of 2025
