I'm sure that the ambulance chasers will be telling the family that they have a case. As someone who was hit head on by a drunk driver 33 years ago, they will sue and normally it would be the greenslip company that would fit the bill. As the car was out of rego it might be Mam who is sued

That was fast and usually the settlement would only be settled after any injuries have healed and long-term repercussions have been taken into account.
