Damn that's such a stupid policy! IMO it should count as a home game and they should just have to make it up elsewhere.

Still don't get the idea of it either. Watching from home (like most people), it's just a stadium. I'm also not seeing masses of people making plans to travel to Brissy for it (or masses of Brissy fans suddenly getting excited about other teams). It just seems like a commercial arrangement rather than something for the fans...

It's an absolute rort that the 2 Birsbane teams get to count it as an away game. If they're going to do that, then move Magic Round to different cities each year

With the very, very lenient charges (one count of drive while relevant drug is present in blood, and driving without a license) against Mam, unfortunately I think this brain-dead, crybaby privileged fool may only serve an NRL suspension much, much less than what Spencer copped for name calling. Which, if you put it in context was during a game and no malice was intended. 10 minutes to go in the game and Ezra couldn't concentrate - FFS. Well - that made a difference to the game and the result. Name calling - 8 weeks. Drug driving, GBH, unlicensed surely this constitutes more? Seriously, this useless clown has to serve time if the authorities and the NRL have any integrity.

Agree. They also fix the draw so all QLD teams play each other twice every season and therefore limit the number of games each has to play away from home.

There is some really dumb stuff in the Roosters full schedule this year
- They play the Panthers and Broncos twice within the first 7 weeks
- All 3 of their byes come within an 8 week span
- Only play 1 of the bottom 5 teams from last season twice in 2025 (the Vermin)

They fix the draw so that they get as many high rated games on TV as possible and Queensland derbies are high raters, Politis was right when he called it a television schedule instead of a sporting draw. 16 of our games were played in Sydney or Gosford this year with an extra 2 on top of that in Newcastle and Canberra it's not like Sydney teams ever have to go far for travel either.

Yes that's fair enough. Still it's all about the QLD market. Dolphins v Titans what a great game. One could argue Faiders v Tigers is an similar contest given their history. But it's all about QLD.

A competition called the NRL and the ruling body doesn’t even schedule its competition. The trouble with the game is all decisions made are centred on click bait revenue for all partners and made to look as its decision but it’s more the case of being an announcement. That’s the biz model.

Don't think there will be much in this game, I'm expecting us to win by 6 with a large crowd at home.

Not expecting us to win the comp next year while going through a rebuild but our rebuilds still have us finishing in the top 8, see us finishing around 5th or 6th and bowing out in week one or two depending on if we get a fair go from the officials.
