  • BJ no try

Did anyone see ot this way ?

May not have made a difference in the end ... but ... at crucial time

Anasta puts kick in comes off Hoffman's feet in in goal .

BJ goes to ground it but Maranta kicks it from BJ before grounding causing knock on.

Maranta was off side in field of play, he was infront of Hoffman when ball came of his legs.

    At the very least penalty.

Possible penalty try in my opinion.

Ruling ... 22m tap to Brisbane

According to The Greg Inglis ruling that's a ricochet off BJ's hands, Henry did knock it on after that as well though so definitely no try.

You cannot be offside in your in-goal.

The Broncos were defending their own in goal when this question of off side play occured.
As correctly posted above by others, there is NO offside in your own in goal.It was still play on until Evans dropped the ball right at the end.

Who is Evans? BJ knocked the ball on.

I thought you could not lead with the foot to stop a try

Exactly< Slater was the main culprit, im pretty sure it was outlawed this year.

                      Obviously not

Different rules when it involves the roosters

Sorry,my bad.Meant to have said Henry. He ended up with the perched between his legs after BJ had the ball kicked from his hands.
If it wasnt a "deliberate"kick which is illegal,it was play on.Henry then made an egg of it trying to ground the ball.

Pretty sure if bj had the ball and it was kicked out of his hands it would of been a penalty or penalty try. but the ball was kicked at while it was bouncing around. if henry had grounded it then it may have been awarded just like the inglis "try"
