The only game this year Where there appeared to be a few set plays was The Warriors match at home Actually it was one play they ran a few times in the 1st halfWhen you trust your television

But yesterday al I could think was "damned straight" and hoped that they struck a chord somewhere inside smith. Whether that means he looks inside and sees we are struggling and makes changes, or thinks "I'll prove these idiots wrong" I don't really care, but I just want him to take notice.
Another example from over the weekend of behaviour I normally wouldn't stand for but was in complete agreement with was knights fans booing their side frm the field. That side is just taking the piss each week and deserve the embarrassment of such an act. Our side is different in that I truly believe most on the field are having a dig, but are just running around legless with no game plan. That's a coaching problem, and the fans are right to try and air their grievances at smith because of it.

I agree that Buderus's reaction was petty sad, especially since he isnt the problem at their club and is one of about 3 guys actually putting in.
Still, at least it showed the fans opinion was both heard and felt by the team, and will no doubt be fresh in the minds for weeks to come. Good players will want to step up and make sure that doesn't happen again. Weak players will crumble and want to walk away. You can bet Bennett will be identifying which players fall into each category and making his recruitment decisions accordingly

The set play is a completely foreign concept to our side.
As said, the warriors game was the only time I can remember us putting on set plays. Funnily enough all were in the opening 30 mins, most started by Ant Mitchell. He was then taken from the field, never to come back on and promptly dumped to Newtown ever since!

[QUOTE=filthyralph;219684]Danish, you and I havnt always got along but I have to agree with you here. Those who accept this bullshit we are being dished up are causing more trouble than those who are actually making a stand and voicing their opinions. If nothing gets said, nothing will will be done to fix it. Those who accept the mediocracy dont deserve to celebrate in the teams success when it comes because there is no way in hell that sort of support can get the team anywhere except average. Its a competition and average (or in our case below average) is simply NOT enough.
Couldnt disagree more with the bolded text above. Thank God I dont believe the majority of supporters would endorse your comments either.
To be loyal, resilient, respectful in supporting your team in an almost unconditional way is way more helpful to the greater good and future success of the team. Ask the players and coaches what they respond more positively to? It sure isnt as you suggest.
You honestly think that verballing the coach or players will actually MAKE them perform better "or at least think about it" as some other person on here said.
I can assure they they want to perform well and win every week and having part of the club (the fans) abuse them is counter-productive in a big way. They know whats not working and are sufficiently embarrased when times are tough, without supporters advising them.
It serves no worthwhile purpose other than to satisfy the anger, irritation or embarrassment of the abuser, and a few of their sheep-like mates following in a Mccarthyism type way.
To suggest the consistently loyal and non-threatening and non-abusive fans are not deserving of celebrating the teams success is one of the most misguided assertions ive seen on here...(and there is strong competition).#We Stand with ourJewish community#

I remember protesting back in 1995 about the threatened amalgamation with St George. That led to Nick getting Phil Gould, Matt Sing and Brad Fittler to the club.
Protest works. Or at least it does if the person you're protesting to or about is a human being.
Yes, that's a carbon dioxide tax reference.

I agree with yous that we need a couple set plays to mix it up abit but really its not attack letting us down because we r scoring points but its our defence & descipline we have to work on especially our goal line defence,,,
We can score points and believe or not but sometimes too much structure is bad because teams can study to defend it atleast with our adlib footy its hard to defend against but i do still think u need abit of both to mix it up

I was more than happy to sit back and let 2012 run its course awaiting the removal of the Captain Useless, the arrival of SBW and Maloney and the improvement in our young guys, problem is I'm seeing no improvement in our young guys! Many of them are still making the same basic errors they were at the beginning of this season, hell some are still making the same errors they were last farking year!
When is this team going to start showing something, anything to get excited about? Beacuse at the moment all I feel towards this club is anger and frustration and fark the ****s at the club if they can't take it cause they're the ones causing it!
Chook.

Not the Eastern Suburbs Rugby League District Football Club....we shouldnt eat our own in other words.
See the diff?
If we were striving for re-admission to the comp like Souths were, you bet I'd protest long and loud.#We Stand with ourJewish community#
