We watched Jakes try several times in slow motion, and he definately did ground the ball on first impact with the ground. The ball was then quickly lifted up by the defender giving the impression of doubt
.A video ref call would have shown this as well on TV with slow motion, and then the vidiot would have tossed a coin in the air to make his descission as usual...

How disinterested did Braith look...picking fluff from his sleeves of his jacket, cleaning dirt from his fingernail, pulling skin from his hands etc

Geez if Braith performed the same way in the press conference as his does in the game, he would be a half decent player.

Referees had nothing to do with it. We are mentally weak. As soon as something goes wrong, we capitulate. Every time we give away a penalty, the other team scores. Mentally weak. And that comes back to the coach and captain.

Read somewhere during the week that penalties lead to tries for most teams this season. Was some interesting stats about it,but no reasons why it is happening so regulary. It is not only us!

Sad thing is when the arona try was allowed, the put together broncos just went about there game and did not let it affect them. we just capitulate. agree with a previous poster, we got some decent calls today too.

The fact that the refeeeing was the main thing the media focused on after the game just shows how bad it actually was today.
Mate they were using it as an excuse, and they have been for the past month.

Even though the reporters were fishing for an outburst from Smith,he should stay classy and deflect the question and talk about the teams poor performance.

I have no more defense for Smith, you can believe what you wish!

Jesus, that is the most telling piece of footage I've seen since the Zapruda film.

Questions need to be asked why when Braith asked Cecchin if one of the refs called Roosters ball (which he did about 4 times) but blatantly lied to Braith's face and said that the call was Broncos call.
