The Cowboys are a good club & him, Drinkwater, Deardon & Jake Clifford are a great spine.
    More money.

There was a rumour that Cobbo would head to the cowboys. Hunt to Broncos, Cobbo to Cowboys, Robson to Roosters?

Be more than happy to have him on board but to have him on board as our best paid player - um no thanks that would cause our salary cap to explode with everyone expecting 1m
Based on his ability, who else is available, how desperate we are for a quality 9, his SOO performance etc, yes he's definitely worth $1.1 mill a year imo.

It's such a critical position! His dummy half service is perfect. He is a tackling machine that never stops and his decision making is spot on. Also the consummate professional.

          Heaps better option than ZDC.

Good depth signing especially with our regular 7 and 9 out for half the season and wouldnt be on much coin either.
If the club decides Moses is our best option for there plan going forward, then I am on board
I assume that there pathways, which is supplying some players to First grade in dribbles, is now ready to supply more.
Maybe the Roosters are now, only willing to spend on players outside of the club. when they see true "Value for Money", and not just because they see a gap in the team

He's a country boy & North Queensland is right up his alley.
The Cowboys are paying him good coin & he makes the SOO team playing first string hooker for Nth Qld.
The Roosters are promoting within & Tyler Moriarty who has come through the Roosters Central Coast academy is being groomed to be the long term number 9.

I'd sign Robson for $1.1 mill a year over Moriaty $400/$500k a year in a heart beat. Tyler is still a pup and needs years to develop into a 1st grade 9.

Ever since the Fifita debacle I’ve totally switched my thinking when it comes to recruitment we failed miserably with B. Smith unless it’s Cleary coming not interested in anyone else.
Robson is one tough nut deserves everything he has with the exception of his asking price.

A different approach is needed promote from within at least that way we don’t piss money down the drain with a player who may not even fit in. Tyler had been in our systems for some time give the young man a go. The last bloke that we promoted went alright scored GF try.

He tackles very well - his service is solid - i agree - have to agree to disagree however on paying 1.1m for him. the only 9 i'd pay near 1 m right now is Harry Grant because he adds so much with his running game.

You need to realise that it's $1.1 mill a year for the 2026 season and beyond. The best Hookers will be thereabouts in the near future.

He's currently on $725k a year which is his old asking price. His game has improved significantly since he signed that deal and was one of the best in this years SOO series.

At the end of the day you need to spend big on your spine if you want to win a comp.

                            Mbye and Wakeman.
Two Tigers rejects are going to fix our halves problem. Throw in Elvis as a backup.

We should chuck in Jayden Sullivan and Charlie Stains too while we’re at it.

I think the fact it’s almost December and he has nor re-signed means he can’t be entirely happy.

Sure maybe he went on the open market to get a better deal but I’m not sure ?
